When I was a kid growing up in Hamilton, ON I was lucky enough to have the Niagara Escarpment right in my back yard.  As a little Cub Scout in a green beanie cap and necktie I would go for hiking trips and camp on Mount Nemo in Burlington.

Like most precious natural resources this area is under threat of development and many of us believe that the preservation of it's abundant species at risk and provincially significant headwaters is to maximize it's value to the greater community.  Please join us for the Third Annual Benefit Concert:

I THE ESCARPMENT TOO!

Hello,

I finally got my own reality show, For Real. That's what it's called,
For Real with Jeremy Fisher and there are already 2 full episodes and a pilot out for you to see. Because I'm a mind reader, I know you have questions. What's it about? Where can I see it? How often? Why?

The show is hosted by a reasonable hand-drawn facsimile of myself, and you get to peek through 2-3 minute windows of my life as it may or may not have actually happened. The title "For Real" only applies to the emotional truth I am trying to get across, not the factual truth - that's boring. The first few episodes include a wide variety of celebrities, Perez Hilton, David Lee Roth and Colin Farrell to name a few. I was hoping it would boost viewership.

There are many places you can see For Real with Jeremy Fisher. Become my friend on Facebook and join the group "For Real with Jeremy Fisher" to view, comment and share episodes. Also you'll find it on
Myspace, YouTube and Vimeo.

Episodes will be coming out as they often as they are convenient for me to shoot. But if I go more than a few weeks between them the internet might fire me, so I'm hoping to get you a couple a month - especially on holidays!

I don't know why I'm doing it exactly...I guess I just thought in these depressed
economic times it would be fun to make something that costs absolutely nothing.
If you like the show, please share it with your friends. If you don't, please share it with your enemies. Just share, it'll be a better world.

Love,
Jeremy Fisher

This is the pilot to a new web series created by Jeremy Fisher and hosted by a reasonable hand-drawn facsimile of himself. In this episode he discusses his humble beginnings in broadcasting and describes what you might find in the upcoming weeks as the series unfolds. Or unfurls. Or it might just kind of un-wrap, he's not really sure. Jer

Listen on demand:

Here's what they had to say about it:

Venue: St. James Hall, Vancouver, BC

Recorded: January, 29, 2008

Jeremy Fisher just keeps getting
better and better.  Wonderful songs that
you can't stop humming are a great place to start.

But with this concert, Jeremy shows
the wonderful rapport he can have with his audience.  They laughed, they clapped and cheered and even helped him remember
the chords to a song.  A wonderful
concert capturing a wonderful musician in top form.

Folk, pop and good times recorded at St. James Hall,
Jan. 29, 2009.
