The cast and crew of 30 Odd Minutes get together to produce (in one take with no rehearsal -- 'cause that's how we roll) their own warped version of the Charles Dickens classic, "A Christmas Carol" (in under 3.5 minutes). Happy Holidays to all of our oddball friends, family, and fans. Stay odd!

Do some people just seem to suck the life out of you? In Episode Nineteen we discuss psychic vampires with author and energy worker Michelle Belanger. Michelle herself is a psychic vampire and is the author of numerous books including: The Ghost Hunter’s Survival Guide, Psychic Dreamwalking, and the best-seller Psychic Vampire Codex, she’s a singer, songwriter, artist, and all around paranormal fan. You’ve seen her on the History Channel, HBO, and A&E’s Paranormal State, and now 30 Odd Minutes. Is Michelle related to our host, Jeff Belanger? Was that a picture of rock singer Eddie Money? Tune in to find out! You'll also notice an odd change in video quality after the first six minutes or so -- we had some technical difficulties that we overcame through brute force and ignorance (special thanks to Bob Legge for taping our live show so we could recover the missing minutes). If the truth is out there… 30 Odd Minutes will find it… but only by sheer accident.

There are many great paranormal conferences out there that I've had the opportunity to be a part of. And many other great events who have yet to bring me out. But there's a few events out there making things bad for everybody. There are a select few people out there who fail to make the conference happen and then don't provide refunds, and there are those who might put up an amazing list of speakers, but then not bring many of them out. This hurts the entire paranormal field because consumers don't know who to trust. I guess I should look at this as a sign that I "made it," because I've fallen victim to this recently. There's a conference out there who has me listed as a speaker (with my picture and everything), who does not have any formal agreement with me (I won't say which one because I don't want to give them any ink). When I speak at a conference, I use a speaker agreement so everything is clear and in writing. I would hate to think someone looks at this conference and buys a ticket because they might be a fan of mine. So here's the deal (and it's actually been the deal with me for the last two years). If you see that I'm speaking at a conference, you can always check my personal Web site to verify. Just go to: http://www.jeffbelanger.com/ and look on the right-hand side of the page. Every event that is listed there has an agreement in writing with me. If it isn't in that list on my Web site, I'm not going no matter what the conference Web site says. (Please note I take events down from this list after they have passed.) It's annoying that I have to post something like this, but I want to look out for paranormal fans first. Times are tough, and people can't afford to attend every event, so you want to get the most out of your experience. Don't give up on paranormal conferences because most of them are fantastic events and a lot of fun. But do your homework before you buy. See you at the next great haunt! -Jeff
