'Anchorwoman' Star Launches Footwear Collection October 2010

Lauren Jones shifts focus from her reality series of becoming an Anchorwoman into her actual life ambition of having her own shoe line. The Anchorwoman star is currently establishing a bridal footwear collection, which will be presented at the Wedding Channel Couture Fashion Show in New York City October 17th- 19th, 2009. Lauren Jones footwear will soon be available at LaurenJonesCollection.com and through major retail distribution nationwide, with interest shown from Zappos, Endless.com Nordstroms,com, Nordstrom, David’s Bridal, Bloomingdales, and Belk.

FOX & CBS are the networks that fueled Jones' popularity through her starring role as "Anchorwoman" and as a Barker's Beauty on "The Price is Right". The Lauren Jones Footwear collection will start out with an emphasis on bridal and evening wear and transition into daywear in the near future.

“There are a lot of gorgeous shoes, delicate heels and fashion forward platforms as well, ” Jones said of the bridal and evening wear collection. “It's a line that's made for all brides who want to look glamorous, flirty, classy and sexy at the same time. It‘s a very important day and the shoes will reflect that significance while looking incredible.”

Retailing from $59 for a satin pump to $120 for a platform heel, the bridal shoes are infused with a rich palette of fuchsia, peacock purple and French blue. Traditional hues of white and off white will be featured as well. Aside from footwear, the Anchorwoman star will also carry matching accessories in the near future.

The 27-year-old reality television star, who is currently preparing for the launch, will also appear in the upcoming star studded feature film, “The Expendables”, with Mickey Rourke and Sylvester Stallone.
