I Got a role at the short film: "Sonidos de Esperanza" (Sounds of Hope) made for the International Foundation "Amigos del Nino con Cancer" (Friends of Children with Cancer) produced by Renacer Films and presented on December 3RD, 2009 on a Purple Carpet event in Miami. Also I got booked by Models 4 Trade Shows at the New York Company Holiday Party. Thank you so much girls 4 all the castings posted on your web site and Merry Christmas!!!!
 
Stefan Pinto  - (SAG) will be a guest on The Maury Show, for a segment titled, “We Were Geeks and Nerds... Today, We’re Knock Outs!” Air date, Thursday December 10th. Check local listings. See http://www.pintofactory.com  for more information.
 
Jorge Ferragut - I was chosen to be in a commercial promoting a Telemundo Novela.  Thanks for being such a great resource to actors.
 
JOHN ARCHER LUNDGREN - wrapped principal filming as co-lead in "The Ah of Life", the latest Banks Helfrich production, a feature exploring the fate of man as a walking time machine; also, filmed last week a featured role as the Mad Magician in the latest Quarter The Villain music video "Sock Puppet Vendetta".
 
EILEEN FAXAS - is starring as the Spirit of Christmas Past in A Christmas Carol now on stage at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. She also has a new commercial running in SW & Central Florida for 711-Pain. Thanks for all the excellent info, especially the audition news!
 
Jayne Irelan - The premiere of Michael Chasin's film 'Death & Life' shown on Nov. 22nd at the Cinema Paradiso went very well.  The audience was captivated by the intensity and uniqueness of the content.  I was honored to have the role of Mrs. Shatterly, whose daughter was murdered.  Michael Jacques was the murderer and fit the part perfectly through his acting ability.  Other actors included Mia Terez, Lisa Eva Gold and Hannah Fornier.  Michael Chasin deserves a lot of credit for this superb film which he wrote, directed and edited.
 
Richard DeAgazio -   I was just booked for a Philips HealthCare Brochure shoot for a new Sleep Apnea breathing mask.

Asley Molina - booked a commercial! She did an infomercial for Kozy Sleeves with lots of lines that will air in Europe.
 
Christian Molina -  booked a print ad for Epi-Pen that will be shooting this week.
 
John Lucas -  I am playing a supporting role in the pilot for a new sitcom "Fine Mess". I play a disgruntled dishwasher named Hobart in a Mob owned bistro.
 
Jeff Canter - I recently wrapped shooting on an industrial for the Florida Department of Health and just booked the role of Coach Bolton in High School Musical at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre which runs from 12/30 - 3/7.
 
Joel Marks - my comedy group, including myself, the raging jews of comedy sold out our show in hartford connecticut. the next show is in washington, dc on december 19th.  our next shows in south fla will be at delray beach on feb 5 and palm beach gardens
 
Kelly Ann Charles - I am on my way to LA for the annual Auto Show. I booked the position of spokes person for the new Rolls Royce elite car called "Ghost". I'll be there for two weeks very excited !!!!

Ashley Lonardo, Jessica Lonardo and (mom) Jennifer Lonardo - We just booked print and video for the Gaylord Palms Resort! We are so grateful for all of our bookings in the past few months and hoping 2010 will be just as great, if not better than 2009!!

The Coen Brothers and Paramount Pictures are ramping up a remake of "True Grit" with Jeff Bridges. 

They are looking for a Florida girl to play "Mattie Ross", the girl who is "looking for a man with true grit" to track down the varmint who killed her father. 

She needs to be 12-16 years old, able to pass for 14,"a girl who is touch, strong, and tells it like it is." They say 'no acting experience is necessary' (This is one of those rare opportunities to be 'discovered' , something most inexperienced actors think happens all the time!)

There will be an open casting in Tallahassee this Saturday, December 12th. 
Location: Courtyard by Marriott, 1018 Apalachee Parkway, from 1 to 5pm. (Expect a huge cattle call, because this came from the Orlando Sentinel on 12/8)

One rule: Only one family member may audition for the role of Mattie. 
The movie shoots in spring of 2010. 

Sounds like they want a 'real' young gal, not someone pitching their acting abilities. Good luck.

Sid Dennis - I just landed a role as a Jury Foreman in my second film: "Redemption 316" produced and directed by Frank Dievbiere.  Earlier this year, I won the Mall Talent Contest hosted by Model Productions in Pensacola, FL. Following that accomplishment, their casting board posted an opportunity I knew I was a fit. I was chosen for the role of: Chief Arnold, a Miami Police Chief, in the movie: "Mistaking Spell".
 
Jorge Ferragut - Booked lead role in a short called "Rising Up".  Happy Thanksgiving to all the staff at AIB.... love the site....
 
DIEGUITO SUAREZ -  An 11 months old baby boy was part of the cast of independent feature "The Neighbord" produced by Renacer Films and soon presented in different Film Festivals.
 
Sharon Pfeiffer -  booked the lead in 'Don't Mess With The IRS' directed by Gary Davis; was cast as Tina in 'The Lombardi's Vs. The Serina's' directed by Josh Aronin; and played a DEA agent on 'America's Most Wanted' which already aired this past Saturday (11/21/09). Not bad for someone who literally just got into 'The Business', huh?  Thanks Again and Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
 
Danielle Kellman - booked and shot the role of young Antonia in the Miami Film School short Film: Damaged,  booked and shot the role of young Jill in the University of Miami Film short film: Jack and Jill

R.J. Stallman - has been very blessed over the pass few weeks. She shot a Slimming Shorts spot,Scholastic Book Fairs (testimonial), Freedom Health Insurance, Pure Protein (the cookie lady), Nutrisystem, Forensic Files (nosy neighbor) and has been cast in the Merck Pharmaceutical print shoot for early December. RJ also had a cameo roll with the late Jeff MacKay in the film "December", which will premier soon.
 
Steve Robinson - Hi Girls. I went back to Telemundo's night time soap opera (telenovela) Mas Sabe El Diablo this past November 19th as an extra. This was the fifth time that I have been on their set.
 
DIANA LOPEZ -  Just finished an independent film called: "Steve is Gone" soon presented at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival. Also Booked by Models 4 Trade Shows at the "National Autism Conference" in Weston FL and at the "Homestead, Miami Racetrack"
 
Staci Lyon -  has recently begun filming as one of the hosts in the pilot for TV of "Look Whose in the Kitchen" which will premiere its first two episodes at Aventura 24 Theatre on December 21, and recently booked Journeys print ad and in-store video.
 
Michelle Ramos -  I just got the role of the Egyptian Princess (newest character) at Universal Studios Orlando, FL. I also booked another job as a Poinsettia for the Macy Day Christmas Parade for Universal Studios Orlando, FL. Thanks! And I love your site!
 
Forrest "Frosty" Respess -  had lead role in industrial film for Holiday Retirement homes. Booking through Michelle Sorrell at Slate Model & Talent. Film, produced by Wide-Eye Productions, Boise, Idaho, will be shown on Holiday website starting in spring.

Casting Director, Howard Meltzer of the TV Show "Hannah Montana" is coming to Miami!!  Howard continues to cast for the Disney Channel Show, "Hannah Montana" and he is currently casting a NEW DISNEY Movie, "Den Brothers"!  This will be a fantastic opportunity for kids to get in front of this TOP CASTING DIRECTOR!  

Howard will be teaching 2 sessions, for ages 10-19 on January 30-31, 2010.  Space is LIMITED to 24 actors per session and the sessions are already half full!

Russell Hess -   I am producing as well as doing a VO role in the film tentatively called "Closets", starring Corbin Bersen of the TV hit "LA Law", feature films "Major League I &I" and the daytime drama, "The Young and the Restless."

Mike Mitchell - has just landed a role as SATAN in Bill Little's "Realm Of Darkness." Located in the UK.

Marilyn Carlisle - I am so excited to report that I booked a principal role in the AXA AUTO INSURANCE COMMERCIAL!

Nicole Denise Hodges - I have booked a role in a short film called Trailor Park Trash. The mother is an obese woman who lives in a trailor park with her daughter & will be played by another actress. However, I will do the voiceover for this character and I want to thank Gilbert Perez for casting me.

John Iovino - feature film, "Rough Winds" took home an award for Best Florida Film at FLIFF!!  If you missed it the first time and would like to see it, copy and paste the link below for tickets sales.  https://www.fliff.com/buy_tickets_1.asp?sID=408.  Next Showing is Nov. 21st,  7pm, at Cinema Paradiso in downtown Ft. Lauderdale.  This film is rated "R", so leave the kids at home.

Mark Kroczynski - was cast in a supporting role for the indie movie "Don't Mess With the IRS" directed by Gary Davis.

Jorge Ferragut -  Selected to be on the Travel Channel's "Samantha Brown's 10 year anniversary show!"

Christine Padovan - has one of the female leads in the feature film, "Cameraman", directed by Pruitt Taylor Vince; she's filming in Shreveport, Louisiana for 11 days!

DIEGUITO SUAREZ - an 11 months old baby boy just signed up a contract with "HUGGIES" as "Little Movers!!"

Lydia Lewis - just did a photo shoot for Hasbro Toys. She will be on the box of a new toy dog that will be coming out for Christmas 2011.  Also look for Lydia soon in the new Kennedy Space Center Brochure.

Julie Kendall - I wanted to share some great stuff that I have been booking as well. America's Most Wanted - I was the wife of the man at large(Turcotte's Wife). This episode is airing on November 21. I also booked doing 3 video tutorial's for a new networking website for "Gear Heads", called My Smokin Ride; and I booked some interview videos for another website, called Kleinert's. I booked a Walmart print ad, a commercial for "Bowlicious", and, I am waiting on a few more things that look really good, so keep your fingers crossed.  It's been a very exciting month, and I have a strong feeling that it is only gonna get better from here.  Take care ladies!!! Thanks again for keeping us all in the loop!

Ana Ayora - Hey Beautiful ladies!  I booked and already shot a part in ABC's Castle that shall be airing November 23rd!!! Thank you for your constant love and support! I look forward to seeing you both!

Jessie Camacho - booked a co-star on ABC's The Forgotten which will air soon, and a recurring hosting gig in "Desveladas", a show on A Toda Musica, Channel 415 on Direct TV Mas.

Victoria Mallow - recent commercials include ColumbusCars.com, Regency Square Shopping Center, and Gulfstream Park plus print/web shoot for Frenchman's Creek.

Alexandra Shepherd - South Florida native currently living in Chicago has just finished back to back stage productions at the National Pastime Theater and with Oracle Theater and completed work starring in the new music video for the band, Gemini Club.

Andrew Carlson - Well hello ladies!  I hope all is going well for you down in Florida!  I got the chance to be an extra in "Little Fockers" that is being filmed in Chicago.  I am also doing a few movies and commercials up in MN -- also going to a movie screening of the first movie I was in called Hunting Buddies.  That is on November 12th.  I also am doing stand up at the comedy clubs up in MN.  The first time I went there, they asked me to come back.  I am also doing a show called How to Make Love Like a Minnesotan III: The Full Montevideo at the improv club in the cities up in MN.  After I am done working up here I plan to come back and take a few classes from you ladies again!  Hope all is going well!
