Hey everyone,

I will be performing my show Playin' With Micucci at the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal!  The show is at the Theater Ste. Catherine at 7 PM on July 16-21 and 23-25.

Here is a description:  This is a show featuring ukulele-wielding comedian and songwriter Kate Micucci (Scrubs, When In Rome) who will present a variety of whimsical songs, stories, sketches, and surprises. Directed by acclaimed veteran comic Ron Lynch (The Sarah Silverman Program, Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job). 

With puppets and other specialties by Mr. Davey Johnson.

And on July 21, 22, 24, 25, Riki Lindhome will be joining me in playing some Garfunkel and Oates tunes!  

So come on by!  Should be fun!

I have a new favorite band.  They are called California Gold and they are made up of my friends Uni, Alex, and Barry.  It is some of the sweetest folky pop I've heard in a long while.  Uni is an awesome ukulele player and has a really pretty voice.  I've been listening to this EP over and over as I drive around in my car.  The more I listen, the more I love it.  I hope you might like it too.

It is rainy here in Los Angeles. Definitely feels like a Monday morning.

I'm working on a new book today. It is a picture book. I hope to have it done by Valentine's Day.

Also, Riki and I are rehearsing later because we have a bunch of Garfunkel and Oates shows happening this week. If you are in LA this week, come one by!
