NAS--here is the epitome of "intelligent ignorance" (copyright Cipha Sounds Effect--wuddup Ciph! Wuddup Ang!). I would go on and tell you my views on this, but what's the point? There is no justification for that "Be A N!gger" bullshit. Nas, I feel you, but I'm nowhere close to being with you on this one. We do it to ourselves, I tell ya. At any rate, if you haven't read NYOIL's response to this record, and Nas' lack of judgment, READ IT HERE along with commentary by the legendary Davey D. THAT IS A MUST-READ FOR LOVERS OF REAL HIPHOP AND BLACK HISTORY!!!!

REAL HIPHOP MAKING A COMEBACK? I don't give a fuck who says what when about what I'm about to say. My vote for Label Of The Year for 2008 is Duck Down Records--home of The Boot Camp Click (both as a collective AND individual artists--Buckshot (project with KRS-One coming soon!), Smif-n-Wessun, Sean Price (Ruck) and Rock (Rockmon, Rockness)--together as Heltah Skeltah (can't wait for D.I.R.T.!), Originoo Gunn Clappaz, and the group that started it all, B.L.A.C.K.M.O.O.N.--Buckshot, 5FT and DJ Evil Dee (only real heads know that's REALLY how the name is spelled)), 9th Wonder & Buckshot as a duo, Special Teams (one of the hardest working groups in hip hop today featuring Jaysaun, Slaine who is now part of La Coka Nostra, and Ed O.G.), Kidz In The Hall (you so-called heads better recognize this duo), Rusty Juxx (aka Da Hate Cha Boy Vic Flair--WOOOOOOOOOOO), DJ Revolution (one of the illest EVER on the cut), not to mention production from Khrysis (on the boards with da heat!), 9th, Marco Polo, Da Beatminerz, and Black Milk...just DAMMIT MAN!!!! This is just the current line-up!!!!! Duck Down is THE example of how to keep it hop, fall off, and still not lose a step. If I ever take a fall, let me keep shit movin like these cats have over the last 15 years! Shoutz to Da Big Cheeze! Any independent label looking for a successful method of keeping your business relevant in this fickle world of music, THERE'S YOUR BLUEPRINT! Real Hip Hop need not make a comeback--IT HASN'T GONE ANYWHERE!!!!

GASOLINE GOOD GRACIOUS!!!! A little over 6 yrs ago (January '02 to be exact), I remember paying 86 cents a gallon for regular unleaded in Oklahoma (oil was almost $20/barrel). January 2004, the national average was $1.50. Here we are 4 years later, with oil 600% higher and the price of petroleum almost 150% higher? Miss me with that bullshit! Here's my solution to the gas crisis--WALK!!!! For 1 day, just walk. Better yet, I don't know anyone who has a job that would get fired for a 1-day no-call/no-show. Let's just say "FUCK DA WORLD" for one day. That'll teach em! Don't think I won't do it because I'll be the first to say "FUCK WORK"!

What’s good peeps?  Every once in a while I’ll feel like dropping a few gems in a blog.  Seeing as though I’m not the blogging type (frankly, because there are barely enough hours in the day to get a couple of winks of sleep, how dare I waste precious minutes on typing up something that only a select few of the literate will care to want to comprehend), it will be fewer and further between when I choose to write up a couple of paragraphs.  This just happens to be one of those times where I feel like it.  Consider this as me giving you--the reader, "the business".

First off, for those of you who keep asking me "where are the pix from the Charlotte show?", they are now posted as a slideshow on my page.  There are over 700 pix that are floating around from the people who I associate with.  As I get more, I’ll post more.  Good stuff there!

Second--I’ve put out a bulletin or two for REAL EMCEES in the DFW Metroplex to get at me for a project that has some serious potential.  I’ll continue to talk about this at events, on MySpace, and I’ll soon be putting out info on the KnowzEnewZ blasts (wuddup Shaka!!!!).  I’m not going to get into too much detail about the project, but REAL EMCEES know who REAL EMCEES are.  The ones that don’t like to be called a REAL EMCEE are just RAPPIN--and THIS PROJECT IS NOT FOR YOU, YOU FUCKIN HATERS! lol.  If you catch me around the Metroplex, or even on the road and know I’m in your vacinity, don’t hesitate to get at me.  I’m not a hard dude to approach, and even easier to contact--TRUST!
