So Yesterday I went to the Dave Matthews Band concert and had the time of my life. The show was fantastic and everyone there was out to have a good time. DMB is a band at a pinnacle of music prowess and put on a show that elicits so many positive emotions in people. I hope to someday play in some way like that. However there has been a new change in my music appreciation.

Lately I have been listening to a lot of hip-hop such as Common and Talib Kweli. Here are rappers writing lyrics about real world problems and making fun of others who use music to speak of nothing. It's true there are so many issues in this world now and people are still so shallow about what they focus on. I am personally angry at this worlds state of affairs and I think many more people should be.

So we will see how my music changes in the coming months. Musically I continue to try to improve, while lyrically i hope to evolve. Look forward to a new cd being recorded over this new summer!

Current mood:  hopeful
So it has been a long while since I have wrote in this here blog. As always I feel like I have been progressing in my songwriting, but that is mostly because my life is beginning to move forward....
In the not so distant future I will be moving off to college, and i am absolutly thrilled about that. Life as a high school student has just become boring to me. The obvious drama coming from people who just care to much about nothing is just lame. That won’t matter soon however, and lucky for me I still have a great group of friends.
On the positive side I have a very big day coming up for me on the 19th. It is the Finale of Lowell High School Idol and I feel ready to make a good shot at the title. Just gotta try to draw as many votes as possible and hope for the best.
I am so excited for that and many other things happening soon. That includes.....
Paris
Prom
The Beach
Graduation
Dave Matthews Band Concert
Jack Johnson Concert

So That whole blog was just a random flow of thoughts, but that is just how I have been living day by day. I am ready to move on and continue to grow. Until than I will follow my good friend John Beckwith’s advice, "Rule No. 76: No Excuses, Play Like A Champion"

Its been almost half a year since my last installment in this blog, so heres a new one. A little less than a year ago i started playing solo shows, compared to open mics. The growth that i have achieved as both a songwriter and a performer has been exponential, and i still look forward to progress. I have played many shows this year and have played with many prominent Boston musicians. These musicians include Chad Perrone, Brian Bergeron and the Late Greats, Cahill, and Will Dailey. All of those musicians have found success in the area and are an inspiration for my ambitions. I have also met many other musicians on the rise who I have made frienships with; Ryan Schmidt, Sunish, Sully, Lowell Mason, Chris Michaud, and Cormac Callahan.

Although the past year for me has been very exciting, i am even more excited for the future. I now have an established collection of songs that is expanding and evolving. The next step for me is going to recording some of these songs to make an ep, ill be able to give more details on the ep once they solidify. I look forward to creating this ep and playing shows as i go through the rollercoaster ride that is my highschool senior year. Once i am done this year of schooling ill be ready to take my music to a new level and really try to make an impact in this community.

Thank you to all my friends, family, and local musicians who have given me the opportunity to share my music with people. More importantly i want to thank those who have given me confidence in my performance because i truely believe in my abilities.

Current mood:  determined

so 2006 is comming to an end, and as it leaves so does so much that has happened in my life both muscially and other ways.

2006 has been a time with probably 2 of the biggest emotional highpoints and lowepoints i have ever gone through, but ive grown because of that.

My music career has finally structured a bit and im very excited to see were that leads me. My song collection has been growing eachday and my skills have been improving. Expect many new songs and many new shows comming up.

This has been my first year of playing legitmiate shows at different venues and i thank brewd awakening, sad cafe, 119gallery, and tupello music hall for the opportunities to play.

Hopefully the year to come will bring many opportunities and i look on it excitedly as another step in my career and life. Get ready baby!

Current mood:  anxious

Hey guys the last few weeks for me have been really awsome. I played a show a few weeks ago at the sad cafe and i had an absolute blast. It was by far the best ive played and am very eager to see if the success of that show will carry over. Ive been writing new music and have some pretty cool new songs brewing. Sadly i havent been able to test these songs out much because ive been busy wtih school and cross country.

This december its looking like ill be playing a great show with my brother, cahill and maybe another. So look out for that one. I just plan to play as many shows as i can squeeze in now and see were it takes me until christmas. New recordings will be up soon.

thanks a lot for the support

Current mood:  rejuvenated
Its been awhile since ive given you guys an update on things. So here is my second installment of the tim bergeron blog. Last tuesday i went and saw John Mayer, his show was the bomb and his new stuff is great. Friday night is much more important though because i play my first "headlining" show at brewd awakening. It went fairly well in the sense that i was able to play 5 new songs that are both fun to play, and pretty decent songs. Right now im going to book shows around the area this fall to practice my live show and sprinkle in some new songs to build a better repertiore. Im pumped because im setting up a band right now that sounds pretty darn good. Life is good and i hope you guys feel the same way. Tim

Well for my hundreds of readers out there id like to welcome you to the world of tim bergeron music. Summer is at its last leg which is a major drag, but ive learned many things this summer and had a awsome time. Ive learned that eating a whole wheel of cheese is amazing, 24 hour car drives stink, and captain Jack Sparrow rocks. Ive played a few open mics this summer and ive found that my vocals are finally getting somewhere i want them to be. My guitar playing chops are improving everyday but i still need to find some guys to make a band. My first real gig is in a few weeks and i hope i see everyone there.
