Hey everyone, it's time for a Swarmbots update.....

On June 5th we will be Playing at Lucky Cheng's as part of STALAG VIII with Noizguild ad Anthony Saunders.  Destructo Swarmbots will be playing as a 2 piece at this show, Josh is joining me for this set.  Should be an awesome night.

Next on the agenda is a string of dates in July supporting ISIS in Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Holland.  I will be performing solo on this tour, it's going to be a great run, so make sure to get the early to catch the Swarmbots set.

Also we will finally be hitting the studio in June to mix our new record, release information will follow in the coming months.

Destructo Swarmbots are back and we posted some new tracks for you to love and adore.

January 21st saw the release of MGR y Destructo Swarmbots - Amigos de la Guittara, on Neurot Recordings.  A vinyl edition will follow later this year.  Go get this record somewhere, buy it, download it , ask me for a copy nicely, however you get  it, just get it.  

We've got a lot of plans for tour and various projects this year.  Everywhere you turn we will be there, it's what you all asked for so we are more than happy to bring it to you.  We will creep inside your head and you will have no other choice than to dance.

Long time no nothing everyone.....

Well finally we have an update, Mike and Josh have been busy losing there minds and re-inventing Swarmbots since we last updated anything.

Let's start here....This fall will see the soon to be legendary album MGR/Swarmbots "Amigos de la Guitarra" on Neurot Recordings. This album brought together MGR (Mike Gallagher/ISIS) and Mike Mare (Destructo Swarmbots/Dälek). These two got down and dirty over at Deadverse Studios in early '07 to record this epic album. A release date and press release will be posted soon enough as well as some ridiculous pics from our photo shoot.

Next we have the first American Swarmbots show of '08 on September 3rd at Crash mansion here in NYC. Mike and Josh will be unleashing some new Swarmbots material and an all new live show to please you with. Fuzzed Out Psychedelic Drone Pop awaits you.

Finally we are still working on our double cd the first disc "Buzzards" is complete and the as of now untitled second disc is being worked on. Expect a DVD release of several short films inspired by the songs on Buzzards to be released as well. Some crazy MOFO's have been generous enough to offer there talents and make some movie magic.

Hey all......just wanted to post some info about the new Destructo Swarmbots album that was just completed. Well it's called "Buzzard" and it's the first record by the duo of Mike Mare and Joshua Booth.
We recorded it over at Deadverse Studios a few days after we got home from the dälek / Destructo Swarmbots tour in October, and we can't wait for everyone else to hear it, we're currently looking for a label to release it so we will post more info when we have it.

The much anticipated Deadverse Massive 12" picture disc featuring Dälek, Destructo Swarmbots and Oddateee is officially released today. An MP can be heard at www.publicguilt.com/pg10.php. These are in a handful of stores already and can be ordered directly from the Destructo Swarmbots Web Store.


The Deadverse Massive 12" picture disc brings together three intense forces in music-- avant hip-hop unit, Dälek, ambient guitarist, Destructo Swarmbots and hip-hop madman, Oddateee. Spontaneity, open-mindedness to the recording process and a collective cohesiveness sprung forth an album that none of them would have every created alone and none of them would have imagined before the moment of creation. Easily, the strangest record any of these artists have ever touched. Artwork from the amazing Paul Romano rounds out the release.

Also a new Swarmbots project is under way, there are some new pieces of music that have been recorded with the intention of being turned into a series of short films created by anyone who may be interested. So far there are 3 folks comitted to the project, if you are or know of anyone interested in being creative get in touch.

2007 will see the release of the new Destructo Swarmbots record called 'Clear Light', it will be released on Public Guilt in April.
There are many other projects in the works for those involved in DS, after Mike Swarmbots got together with Mike MGR and did two shows together the decision to record was made, parts have been and are being recorded and will be mixed shortly over at Deadverse Studios.
Looks like it may be a busy tour year for DS and DS collaborations as well so check back for updates about dates for tour & releases that should be coming out throughout the year like....
