Jeremy P. Caulfield

Original Fukhouse resident and global techno superstar, Jeremy P. Caulfield returns to Toronto in June, fresh from rocking the Detroit Electronic Music Festival and several of Berlins hottest clubs.
One of Torontos most successful exports, his productions have been featured on prestigious labels such as WMF, Trapez, and, of course, his own Berlin-based Dumb-Unit, now one of the most respected and consistent of Canadian techno labels. His records are complex, stalking, and contain a unique edge that is immediately identifiable.

Adam Marshall

One of the few red hot techno hawks who hasnt flown the Toronto coop, Adam Marshall runs his newborn New Kanada label right here in Hogtown. Adam has been playing out, promoting, collaborating, and building the scene here since the early 90s, and his hard work has turned into recognition on the international stage. His productions have appeared on his own Killer and New Kanada labels, Dumb-Unit, Antenna International and Cynosure, with remixes on Supesharu Recordings and Fukhouse resident Noah Preds Sentient Sound. Having headlined this years Movement Festival in Detroit, his raw house groove and minimalist roots combine to make a futuristic yet soulful techno sound. This summer is a key one for Adam, as hes kick-starting his tour of Europe with a live set at Fukhouse.

On Saturday, June 24, Jeremy and Adam will be joined by Fukhouse residents

Good Day Folks,

Due to the US holiday, a few of our shipments are coming one day late. That is also the reason this mail out is a day late. However, the information is just as tasty today as it would have been yesterday. We have received one shipment already with a couple more to come tomorrow and three on Friday. The new release details are listed in our mail out (which is also posted on our MySpace account). One of our shipments is not confirmed yet so it is included. Just watch the site latest updates.

Some of the digital file hard drives we have been waiting on have been stuck in customs which is delaying the launch of 2 The Beat Digital. The site is operational now, but we are waiting on some more music to arrive before we launch. We are very excited that we will be launching with MP3s of the new D.A.V.E. The Drummer album on Hydraulix. So once we get these hard drives, you will see many changes to our online store. We have also begun selling Serato Scratch Live from Rane. You can order it via the site or pick it up in the shop. Our own D-Monic is a major supporter and would be happy to tell you why if you are in the store.

Do not forget that there is a timely event happening next Tuesday June 6. Terror Inc presents 6-6-06 featuring ROWLAND THE BASTARD (UK). Tickets are cheap and on sale now at 2 The Beat. As well, Mr. Brown is playing at Beba lounge Wednesday night (May 31) as part of the new DNB Wednesday night in the heart of little Italy.

Congrats to Edmonton Oilers for making it to the Stanley Cup Finals. You are Canada's team now!
