Why: The Harvest of Hope Fest is a benefit event to raise money for the Harvest of Hope Foundation, established in 1997 to raise funds exclusively for migrant farm worker individuals and families. The foundation has distributed over $685,000 to migrant farm workers and families around the country for repairs to vehicles, housing, utilities, medical services and bills, food, clothing, funeral expenses and tuition for migrant students attending college. In addition, the Foundation has issued small grants to migrant-related support service organizations. Federal, state and other public aid to migrant farm workers has become increasingly restrictive, and, in many cases, not available at all. The Harvest of Hope foundation has been called upon to fill in the gaps in service to this most hard working and deserving, yet needy group of laborers.

R.I.P. Lillian's...

Wow, it's 6-18-09 and I just looked at a few of these comments from this blog posted over 2 years ago and I can't believe how much has changed and how many of you I still talk to!  I really appreciate all my friends and comrads in this industry.  The music industry is a CRAZY, overwhelming biz but there's always some crazy coincidence or some crazy connection that makes it all worth while.

Thank you everyone for caring and understanding.  Great things are in the making b/c of ALL OF YOU!  You guys rock my world.

Thanks EVERYONE for your support!!!
I truly thank you friends....

Lillian's closed a few years ago due to a lease discrepancy.  It has yet to be re-opened!  If anyone is interested in making it into another music venue, let's do it!  Thanks to the WHOLE staff f/ back in the day, Keith, Sherry, Gemal, Ward, Shawnee, Errol and others for rockin for so long!

Contact me for more details...
