So recently a girl I went to highscool with found me on myspace and friended me. I accepted. She then began posting bulletins saying pretty much that Gay people won’t make it into heaven. So, naturally, i challenged her. She ran the other way and defriended me. Its funny how one can be quick to preach, but run the other way when someone challenges them. Anyway, here is the conversation.

It really does say that, in any christian bible. You chose to overlook it and expel it from your mind. Know your history before throwing gauntlets. Homosexuals and transexuals alike have always held high positions all throughout hitstory. Since the beginning of time.
If you really love Jesus, he would tell you to stop trying to bring people back to Christianity. It is not your place to judge people, but is God’s. He will do that on Judgement Day. He will then choose who is worthy of entering heaven. People who have lived good lives, were kind to others, and appreciated people for who they are. That includes gay people. Not all gay people, but those who have lived good lives. You CAN be gay AND live a good life. There are also gay people who are bad people. There are also STRAIGHT people who are bad people. They will not make it into heaven. No one bothers them. Targeting one specific type of person is not going to get you into heaven. There is no quota to meet that will get you into heaven. To think so is delusional.

that being said. I’m happy you love God. I’m happy you love Jesus. I’m happy you want whats best for your friends. But as I said before, you are not they’re friend if you not accept them as they are. God put us here on this earth for a reason. otherwise we would not be here. We are here to educate. We arehere to love. Love knows no boundaries. Love does not limit itself to just between a man and a woman. To claim that it is and deny that right is Wrong all in itself.

You want to change people into something they are not. you want to convert them "back" to Christianity. If you really want to help people, LISTEN. Listen to what they have to say. Shunning people for being different will not help and will only push them away.
Its God’s decision who gets into heaven, not yours.
