Current mood:  good
Category: Food and Restaurants
I'd been to The Hungry Cat before for drinks before but not for dinner and now WOW I love this place. I ordered a Dark and Stormy = a little strong at first and then perfection.

Dark and Stormy

I also ordered the Pug Burger and it was so unbelievably good I wanted to run down Vine telling the world but it was cold and I'm out of shape so this will have to do. In an earlier review I said The Counter had the best burger in Los Angeles and I'm going to have to change that to best burger on the west side. After I airlifted the onions off of the burger I dug in.

It was so great I think it had 1/4" of bacon on it and it was really GOOD BACON. I got the bleu cheese on the side, which was literally a side of bleu cheese, nice!

The fries were good and the trio of sauces that came with the burger were great, yes one of them was ketchup but I really like ketchup on the side in a little cup, a lot!

The friends I was with ordered other things and were very happy but we all know I was the happiest. Sure it's not cheap but I deserve good things occasionally and it's dinner at a nice place. I like that, a lot!

No, I'm not talking about the folded Twenty-dollar bill I found in my belly button, I found this commercial I did a while ago hidden on this Magicians demo reel.

It's one of my favorite commercials that I've done. Sadly for myself and people that enjoy good things it never aired. We shot it for two days; everyone was nice, even the Magician didn't get on my nerves. In fact I now consider him a hero for posting it since I am too lazy to do it myself.

Hang in there for a few seconds and the commercial will appear shortly.

Whenever I go out I forget that sometimes Hipsters don't mind working with the B.O. going on.

That's not good.

I said goodbye to another Hawaiian Shirt last week. His name was Leafy Blue Guy and he was about 8 years old. His hem was held up with staples and tape and his material was extremely thin. Sunday 6/18/06 the last time I tried to wear him the collar would no longer stand up. He had given all he could and was telling me it was time to let him go, so I did.

I'm going to miss that shirt.

Today I finally got a haircut that I like. I know it’s not a big deal to most people but when you only have seventeen hairs left on your head it IS a big deal. So I will be happy now for the rest of the day. You should be happy too.

My Zenith 27" inch has decided it can’t go on any longer and it attempted suicide twice yesterday during the Law & Order SUV marathon. I keep bringing it back to life but I don’t think I’ll be able to do that much longer. It needs to be put down and I’m not in the mood to buy another TV right now. It would jump to the top of my list, ahead of a new vacuum, a bigger bed, a mac mini and a personal trainer. Also I want a cool new TV but you can’t get a cool new TV that’s under $800.00 or that isn’t 3 feet deep. Making it difficult to fit in my car. I’ll let you know how this turns out.

Honestly I really don't like Vince Vaughn. I've never found him as funny as other people do or even as he does. I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith today and he made me laugh once with a facial gesture. Not anything he said with his "I'm Vince Vaughn playing Vince Vaughn" slightly yelling delivery. People say what about Old School? Old School for me was Will Ferrell, Luke Wilson and Elisha Cuthbert. I didn't need Vince in it. What about Swingers? Swingers doesn't hold up and Jon Favreau is the funny one to me. You know it's not that great if Fucking Favreau is the funny one. I am going to see The Wedding Crashers as Vince Vaughn's last chance which is going to hurt because I think the extremely overrated Owen Wilson is even worse. If you even think about saying what about Bottle Rocket you could get punched.

Have you been watching "The Cut"? Hilfiger is so boring it’s obnoxious. I don’t think anyone would ever consider him a cool guy. I hate the clothes he makes (Except for one pair of shorts I bought but the button broke because they’re cheaply made.) His stories are lame, His contestants are really stupid and I can't stop watching.
