LOL, i just read the last blog post that i made, and it's totally funny now. well, for those of you who don't know, i actually did end up going out with that guy (His name was sigmund) We went out, had fun, messed around, and a month later, we broke up. It was kinda funny how that happened actually. I was thinking that maybe i was developing a stronger attachment with him, so i called him, told him so, and then we just broke up over the phone. After that i was a bit...bummed is too strong of a word...disappointed? either way, i was disappointed for a grand total of 30 min (okay, maybe 5 min) then i got over it. Then i ended up single for a full month (omg) before i met my current boyfriend (who is totally amazing by the way). There are some sordid details which i will not mention on this totally public blog. But to make a long story short, we have now been together for 2 1/2 months and are totally in love. Me, in love, never thought it would happen tbh, but i am only 18, so i should have known better. oh the arrongace of youth....

interest, like, crush, and then a slight dip into depression that comes with the realisation that a guy that awesome would surely never want to be more than friends with you, and then just give up really. That is typically the pattern that love life follows. which is probably why i have never had much of a love life. there has only really been one exception to this rule, and that was Austin, and you guys know how that turned out. Then whenever i have asked other guys out, i get turned down, and really, there is only so much rejection a girl can stand before she becomes totally hopeless ya know? *sigh* Right now i'm slightly bummed. There is a guy i'm kinda sorta into, but really, why do i set myself up for disappointment? He's really awesome, hot, gentlemanly, sociable, fun, and generally a whole lot more interesting than i am. -_- what the hell would he see in me anyway? beside a friend of course. bleh. I'm not depressed, just kinda bummed. and, in a way, amused. I mean, i was kinda under the delusion that maybe, just maybe, he might be interested in me too. but chya right, as if. *sigh* But still, it's nice to dream right?

You know what "luxury" i miss the most? One would think it would be television seeing as i never watch tv anymore. but it's not. One would also venture to guess that free time might be the answer. but that's not it either. If one were really to think about it they would say it's having my dad buy everything for me. but that isn't the answer either. I really miss having a washer and dryer. I just got back from doing laundry. I have to walk almost 10 blocks to get to the laundry mat (very short blocks, but still a 10 min walk, if i go downhill) I have to walk all that carrying a bag that weighs at least 30 lbs. and then i have to carry it mostly uphill to get back home. not to mention i don't like people looking at my clothes while i'm doing laundry. especially my undies. *sighs* i wish having my own washer & dryer in the garage.

this morning, i was just exiciting the underground muni station, heading towards work and just generally minding my own business. thnking about how I miss all my friends and family down there something fierce. I noticed a group of cops and EMTs huddling around. I was kinda curious so i kept mine eyes upon them to see what was going on. well, i notice that there's a body on the ground. with his eyes open. REALLY pale. and like his body was frozen.
The old man was dead.
man, all kinds of shit go on in a city.

Since i havelive in SF i have been hit on 3 times. And while it is something that would normally flatter me, it did not during those 3 times. The reason being that all of these men were in the same range as my dad. .... wrong isn't it? one fun fact though, all three were black men. maybe i should hit up the younger black guys and see how it goes? or just not worry about boy/girl relationships right now? i think i will go with the latter.

Well, this is a pretty sums up what happened to me. So, today was the first day of school. It was prety cool. My critical thinking prof was pretty cool, and interesting. What i found amusing about the first day was the quiet. It reminded me of the first day of my HS freshman life. Everyone was quiet (well, depending on the class really) because no one knew each other. It was the exact same thing here. And when the prof was asking questions, no one answered. Well, i did once, but that was only because he was REALLy waiting for someone to answer. But that wasn't the point. The point was that no matter what, for the first few days of school no one wants to answer the teacher's question. After class i went to the pre-calc class i wanted and tried to squeeze into that class. I'll let you know how that goes on friday. Well, anyway, onto the thing that happend that really relates to this oh-so-interesting blog. Today i got cited for $50. The whole month i've been getting away with paying 50 cents for bus fare (it's $1.50 for 18-65), and even then i had been cheating by just flashing my ticket at the oh-so-attentive bus drivers (if you don't catch the sarcasm, may god be with you. or if you're polytheistic then may the gods protect you) when i just don't want to fish out some more change. Today the powers that be, or the just powers that watch over me must have decided "okay, lets nip this in the bud NOW. BEFORE she gets in trouble" So i just mentally said "okay, fuck it, i'll just pay the damn fine." But still, 50-fuckin' bucks man...

It's so weird. One the people that most annoyed while i was in So. Cal. has become my biggest supporter and the biggest confidence booster-upper. This person is my dad. I cannot rememer the many times i've bad mouthed my dad (and if your reading this dad, sorry ) But he's helped me out so much in the past weeks, and encouraged me soo much, that i just can't be anything but grateful that he is my dad. I love you dad!
