Ok...First lets put down the definition of bigotry for all to see, just to make sure you understand what you are reading!

A bigot is a person who is intolerant of opinions, lifestyles, or identities differing from his or her own, and bigotry is the corresponding state of mind.

I have almost given up on the fact that people as a whole, will ever be able to stop judging one another the second they see their clothes, skin color, sex, sexual preference, religious choice. ect...
I have given up hope because the bigots won't change their minds because they speak in derogatory or pejorative manner which in turn almost always forces the person they are talking to or about to become racist in rebuttal.
And lets not forget the "Drama Trolls" who roam about just spouting pointless and frustrating comments, just to get a rise out of people (and usually do). I hate them most of all because there is no silencing them and they never have anything meaningful to say or valid points to make. They only infuriate those  who are already not seeing clearly, thus perpetuating more bigotry.
And the fact that each race continues to call the others  racist is not helping the matter at all. Yes there are racist Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Arabs, East Indians, the list goes on and on....But that doesn't mean we all are. Don't judge another race because SOME of them have bigotry towards another race. Because they occur in every race. This cycle has to stop.
And as far as religious beliefs go. I believe personal religious choice should remain PERSONAL! Quit talking about it. If a person is truly unhappy with their religious choice they will change it themselves. STOP TRYING TO CONVERT ONE ANOTHER!. Quit discussing why you believe your religion or lack there of ( I respect that too), is the correct one! No one has solid concrete evidence of who is right so just leave it alone and believe what you will!

NO ONE is born a Bigot. Bigotry is learned behavior. But it is learned easily. We are taught by our family, our friends, our teachers, even the media. BUT just like Intolerance, learning what kinds of differences are acceptable, learning to TOLERATE, ACCEPT, and LOVE things different from us is also a learned behavior. And this option is open to all of us regardless of skin, clothes, religion and so forth. We are all the same...we are all different. I can't tell your blood from mine when it is spilled on the ground.
And don't even bother replying saying "Hey isn't being Intolerant of Intolerance, Hypocritical?" How dumb can you be? I mean really!? People who are intolerant of racists are BETTER than racists....and here's why. Being intolerant of people for the CHOICES they make is very different from being intolerant of people because they have slightly different genetic markers, that make them"Superficially" different from you.  See the difference? Hating some one for the choices they make vs. Hating someone for something they have no control over.

Example: You have 2 neighbors one on each side. One has the same color skin, wears the same kind of clothes, claims to be the same religion... Superficially the exact same as you lives on one side. He is a Drug dealing, Rapist, Pedophile Murdering asshole.
On the other side someone completely different from you. Different Skin color, hair, eyes, clothes, religion, sexual preference  and he is a doctor,....saving lives everyday. Which one deserves your respect?

Stop being angry and scared of each other because we are different! That's never going to change. Embrace our differences. Don't stop learning. Don't get settled into one opinion or lifestyle because you are comfortable there.Let go of our past differences and things our ancestors did and see people for who they are today!

Why don't guys dress up for dates? "I don't mean to be a traitor to my generation, but its like guys just roll out of bed , skip their hair completely, throw on the first shirt they see on the floor, and put on a baseball cap, ( I hate ballcaps) and we are expected to swoon? " It's not like I'm asking them to wear a full suit, all guys really need to dress up is a pair of black slacks, nice shoes,a belt, an undershirt, and a button up shirt (short or long sleeved). It's not that hard....

Most guys say its a comfort thing, but I don't wear skirts, high heels, thongs, and make-up to be comfortable, I wear it so I'll look nice when you guys take me out. Otherwise I'd just throw my hair in a ponytail and wear sweatpants and an oversized T-shirt when we go out.

Now I understand dressing for the occasion. Most places its fine to wear shorts or jeans and T-shirt. But would it kill you to dress up for a night to go to dinner, or to a club?

I don't know, maybe I want too much? I need opinions...guys and girls. What are your thoughts on this subject?
