We wonder why so many poor people in the world despise the Western World for its gluttony, greed, and consumerism , then fight back with violence (which is wrong) and hatred (which is understandable).

Sherrisse Naomi Stroude was born blessed with an amazing voice and has been singing since she took her first step. She went from singing various nursery rhymes at age one to wooing crowds at the age of six with performances at the Cardiff Castle, The Millennium Centre, Chapter Arts Theatre and The Big Weekend.

These were just a few of the venues she performed at through a musical project called “Expressions of the Young Kind”. She was also able to secure a spot on Michael Barrymore’s “My Kind of People” at the age of just eight. By the time she was ten, Sherrisse joined a girl group called Shades. They recorded a song written and produced by Paul Weston entitled, “We are the Future” which was sold to raise money for BBC Children In Need. This led to Shades appearing on S4C news singing live to thousands. Sherrisse auditioned for S-Club Juniors and impressively reached the final 20.

Over the years, Sherrisse has blossomed into an 18 year old woman heavily influenced by Jazz, Blues and R&B. She is a quick learner and has discovered her own style of writing and performing her own songs in a short period of time.

Sherrisse is currently with InspireMe Management working with some great artists such as T-Zer and Kristi and a great producer by the name of Kalamity and much more exciting collaborations are still to come. She has most recently joined Highrise Entertainment based in the West Midlands and is a valued member of Cardiff Highrise.

Two blogs in a day from me which is surely a record!

Just to let you know my musical "significant other" Al Steele has been added to my top friends.

Al is one of the finest producers,musician and song arrangers in the business and is also a very talented songwriter.
