For the 2nd time this year Stratocruiser will appear on the small screen right in your living room. Friday morning, December 19th we will appear on WFMY-TV Channel 2 (Greensboro, NC CBS affiliate) on the Good Morning show. We will appear at various times throughout the show performing songs from our Christmas EP of last year and our new Christmas single "Thank You Christmas" The show starts at the not-very-rock time of 6am and lasts until 8am. Set your DVR and check out out later in the day when you have had your coffee. We will be there performing live and as we have to drive there and load in at 5:30am we will probably look like we need a strong black cuppa joe. Hopefully we will get the performances up on You Tube the same day. Stay tuned and wish us luck.

Statocruiser played a cool gig last week in Kernersville to celebrate the
re-opening of the Main St. shopping area. News 14 Carolina was there to

Speaking of bass... henceforth our old bass player Jeremy Boomhower is now
our new bassist. Jeremy plays the lion's share of the bass on our 2006 CD
Revolutions. We're glad to have him back and wish Jack the best as he had to
retire from the live rock due to job and family commitiments.

Lastly...

Weather permitting we will play November 8 at 8pm at the City Tap in
Pittsboro, NC. 8 to 10pm.

October 31 will have the City Tap hosting Gravel Truck - the world's only
and best Let's Active tribute band. This "tribute" band is fronted by Mitch
Easter - who - is - uh - Let's Active. Jon Heames will be on drums with Tim
Lee (Windbreakers) on bass and Shalini on guitar and Susan Lee on backing
vocals and keys. See the rock!

Gliding through the musical mire like a perfectly designed airliner is "Egg Shells" the latest from East Coast band Stratocruiser. This newest offering may very well prove to be their long range flagship of material as each track is a full on salute to psychedelic , trippy, power pop rock at its finest. Lead singer Clay Howard's vocals have always had a stalwart style that is transfixing, but with even more distinctive and powerful production than prior Stratocruiser releases, his latest delivery is even more provocative than ever.
Long compared to the likes of Cheap Trick and Badfinger, Stratocruiser's sound could very well be the one that other bands get compared to from now on, as the uncompromising and brilliant guitar work of Mike Nicholson coupled with Matt Brown on drums and Jack Getz on bass results in a singular sound that Stratocruiser can call all its own. Moving easily from balled to straight on rocker, "Egg Shells" lands spot on to commanding lyrics, guitar work worthy of any six string legend and pocket perfect bass and drums exemplified in standout tracks like "Egg Shells", "By Design" and "Cherry Flavored".

We are excited to announce that we will be releasing our new full length

The new record is called Egg Shells and it contains 10 new songs recorded in
