I just finished a rehearsal with Kevin and Timmy... Stuff sounds freakin AMAZING!!!

We couldn't be more stoked about recording this new record! I am looking forward to getting together with Jimmy for writing new stuff. If everything goes as planned, we should have the tracks done by early "07" for a spring release.

It was awesome playing the first show back in many years!  The crowd was singing as loud as the band! This was a precursor to what is coming up. We couldn't be more thrilled!

Thanks for all the kind words from all the fans! Look forward to "07"...

Out...

Greetings All...

Some great news from the "D" camp!!!

Kevin Lee, who played on (What a Joke, Stay of Execution and Live EP) and was a member of "D" from 1991-1993 has returned to Deliverance!!! We are very excited about having Kevin back in the "D" camp!!!

Kevin has some of the fastest double bass playing and overall monster thrash style that people loved. Kevin also showed his ability to round out his talents to play a more progressive style on "Stay of Execution"...

Our show in Puerto Rico has been postponed till March of 2007... All involved felt that it would be better to put some more time into promotion for this very great show... Also, it gives "D" time to work on the new CD... We are presently in pre-production for recording the upcoming record... I am positive that all fans of "D", new and old are going to be beyond pleased with this newest offering from the "D" camp...

We trust all is well with all our friends out there, and we want to hear from you!!!

Take care all...

Greetings All...

Thought you guys would dig hearing a little of "D" LIVE @ UFTA2... The show we played was recorded, and I was sent a copy of the show... This was probably the best cut out of all... But, Mike's gtr gets unplugged a couple of time, but thankfully his solo is untouched!!! LOL...

We only had 2 rehearsals b4 this gig... It doesn't sound great, but it's not that bad either... LOL

I hope you enjoy this little bootleg of "Not To Good 4 Me" live... The song origionally appeared on "Camelot in Smithereens" from 1995...

Love on ya...

GREETINGS!!!

I just wanted to say hello to everyone and let you know the current haps on "D"...

I just came back from a weekend in California where "D" is hard at work on rehearsing and writing the new record!!!  We have a few tracks for the new record done... It is coming along wonderfully!!! We already have 2 tracks recorded and when they are all complete, we will be posting some on this site for all to have a sneak preview...

I am digging the sound that we are making... It is heavy and very "D"... I am really excited writing with Mike Phillips again and Tim (bass) and Matt (drums) are working out killer for the new sound!!! Of which by the way, we have a new drummer who has been working with us over the past month... His name is Matt Davis... We did a surprise appearance at the Up From The Ashes 2 festival a few weeks ago, and the responses was EXCELLENT!!! Matt did a great job with only learning the songs in a matter of 2 weeks... Then, for the encore, we did "No Time" with Jim Chaffin sitting in on the drums!!! It was an awesome time!!!

The only bummer I would say was that there were a few people that actually showed up to the show for one reason, and one reason only. To bad mouth "D" and try to discredit me with all those in attendance... I guess that no matter how many years pass, people stay bitter... Amazing!!! These people think that they are believers and are actually doing God's will... Then, they don't even obey the scriptures that teach to forgive, be at peace with all men, and if you have ought with your Brother, go directly to him about the issue... These people just went around talking slander all night about me, then when I saw them, they actually hugged me and greeted me with nothing at all to say to me to my face, but when my back was turned, they spoke out against me and "D" returning!!! It was quite amazing...

Ok... Enough of my soapbox!!! I said my peace!!! I am excited about this new record as well as the upcoming shows... We will be in Houston, TX in Dec, Puerto Rico in Oct, and some more shows are being planned over the next year!!! I think that we are going to have a blast!!! I can't wait to see you all out there again!!!

Talk to you soon...

Love on ya...

J

I just came back from Fresno, CA last night... Man, what a horribly long drive... But, I came back pretty stoked!!!

So, I am letting everybody here know what is happenning... "D" is returning to form!!! The band is sounding GREAT!!! We rehearsed and had great times all hanging out this weekend with all our families and what not... It had been close to 12 years since we had all got together like this and it was awesome!!!

I have got some wonderful news!!! Here is the OFFICIAL lineup for this reunion!!!

Jimmy P. Brown II - vox,gtrs
Mike Phillips - gtrs,bckg vox
Jim Chaffin - drums
Tim Kronyak - bass
Corin Jae Scott - keys,synths

The band is sounding incredible!!! We went through a lot of the old mateial as well the the latter "D" material and it is all sounding GREAT!!! We are anticipating a GREAT show in Puerto Rico this coming Halloween weekend!!!

Jim Chaffin has stepped in on the skins to help "D" out for this show... We are thankful to him and "Once Dead" for lending his talents to us!!! Jim is an amazing drummer!!!

In other news, we auditioned this incredible ripping drummer that may very well be the guy who will be replacing Chaffin for future gigs and recordings! When we are certain, I will keep you posted here...

But, I just wanted EVERYONE to know how KILLER rehearsal went this past weekend, and that to be ready!!! "D" is back, with a vengeance!!!

Regards,

Jimmy P. Brown II
