Good news for who ever wanted to play one of Gwyllion’s songs but does not own an instrument: our song ’Closure’ is now featured on the online PC version of Guitar Hero called Jam Legend (click here to play)!

The song ’The Night Awakes’ will follow a bit later! Have fun!

Very bad news today. Due to problems with the German booker - which were communicated to us only 2 days before the start of the first show - both Autumn and Gwyllion were forced to cancel the shows in Germany. This is through no fault of the bands - we even tried to book the venues independently to still be able to play some shows there - but it seems there is no possibility whatsoever to salvage the wreckage and to give you guys the shows you deserve. None of these shows will be played.

As you can imagine, this is devastating news for us - both on a personal and a financial level (we were really looking forward to our first tour with Autumn and we had already booked all equipment and transportation, which we now have to cancel and pay cancellation fees). We do however want to stretch that this problem has in no way been caused by Autumn or their managemend, who proved to be great guys and who actually doing a lot more for us than they should. A warm heartfelt thank you to those guys, and we cannot wait to play a few shows with them in the future!

We have already received several messages from disappointed German fans who are asking if the rumors are true, we can only apologise to you guys and thank you for your support. We promise we will return to Germany and make up for the shows we have lost for now! Thanks for your support and see you on the road!

Both albums have now been released in Japan, and Rubicon Music was kind enough to send us a few copies of the Japanese edition of the albums. A few pics, taken with a crappy phone camera:





The bonus track on ’Awakening the Dream’ is a live version of the song ’Once upon a Lifetime’, and the bonus track on ’The Edge of All I Know’ is a live version of ’Lost in a Dream’. Only available in Japan!

Next month, Gwyllion will be on tour with Autumn - one of Holland’s finest female fronted metal bands - in support of their latest album ’Altitude’ and our latest album ’The Edge of All I Know’!

Needless to say we are very excited to hit the road with these extremely talented musicians!

For the second week in a row, Gwyllion was featured in ’Whiplash’ on Studio Brussel yesterday, with the song ’Entwined’ from the new album. Various other songs have also been played on several radio shows in The Netherlands, Germany and the US!

Dear friends, fans, and everything in between,

It's been a while since the last newsletter, so the time is here for us to bother you once more!

New album

This Friday marks the Belgian release date of our new album, 'The Edge of All I Know', which was produced by Jens Bogren in the Fascination Street Studios in Sweden!



A compilation of all the songs on this album can be heard at www.gwyllion.com/music.php, and it can be pre-ordered at www.gwyllion.com/orderform.php! Also check out the new merchandise by the way, it's beautiful!

Listening party

On Friday the 6th - the day the album comes out - we'll throw a small listening party at Café Den Deugniet in Kortrijk. Some members of the band will be there to present the new album, which will be played from start to finish while we're enjoying a few beers. This will also be your first chance at buying the new album and merchandise from the band themselves!

We'll be there at about 22.30 - 23h!

Release show

Of course we are also planning to present the new album for you live! The release show is planned at the 21st of March at JH Tap in Kuurne (near Kortrijk), and you're all invited! Bring your friends!



We'll be playing together with our German label mates The Claymore and Infinite Horizon, check them out because we really think they are great! And to top everything of, we'll be giving a free barrel (of beer) to celebrate the release of the new album!

Great news: we have found a new lead singer! Ann Van Rooy has joined Gwyllion’s ranks and she’s ready to kick some serious butt!

Since we’re back on track again, we can also finally announce the release dates for our new album, ’The Edge of All I Know’. It will be released on the 6th of March in Belgium, and on the 3rd of April in the rest of Europe! There will also be new merchandise, that will be available on the same date. You can check it out on our new website - the pre-order links will be active soon!

We are also planning a release show shortly after the release date, so keep your eyes on this page for further updates!

As some of you may have heard already, Annelore has decided to quit the band. Gwyllion is planning their first tour this year, but Annelore felt she could not leave everything behind for two weeks to go on tour through Europe. Several options were considered, like touring with an interim singer, but in the end Annelore decided to quit all together.

Of course this is a major blow for Gwyllion, as Annelore has been both a major part of our sound for the last few years and on our two albums, and a very close friend, but we respect Annelore's decision and wish her all the best in her future life.

Gwyllion is now actively searching for a new lead singer. Anyone interested in this position can contact the band at info@gwyllion.com.

The CD release will go on as planned, so expect more news about this soon!

Finally we can announce the label deals we've been working on for the last few months! We know it took a while, there were several proposals - even from some major players - and we wanted to examine each deal thoroughly before deciding what the best course for Gwyllion would be. We're very happy to announce that 'The Edge of All I Know' will be released by Black Bards Entertainment (Germany) in Europe, and Rubicon Music in Japan! Rubicon Music will also release our first album, 'Awakening the Dream', in Japan. More news about release dates to follow soon!
