My CD, City of No Winters, has been added to Pandora .  Panora was written up in Business Week magazine a various other publications as the next thing in internet radio.  Behind the scenes their work was part of the Music Genome project which uses various mathematical algorithms to analyze and classifiy music (in addition to human reviews).  As a statistician, I think this is pretty cool.  It's a great way to discover new music and should get my music out to new ears. Pandora is free to use and allows you to create your own radio station built around music you like. If you haven't checked out Pandora before, here's my artist page. On that page, you can click on "Create A Station" to get started. If you know someone else who might want to check out my music and Pandora, please spread the word.

2005-2006 saw requests/airplay from 20 countries, and 2007 welcomed the inclusion of Macedonia to our wonderful list of countries.  It is so nice to see the international interest from this internationally influenced album.

The latest tally is in, the Lou Black "City of No Winters" album has gotten airplay on over 100 stations across the U.S., and now we have confirmed reports that the Dutch, Germans, British, Italians, Australians are getting in on the action.  Radio stations requests have also come in from Spain, and Belarus.
