Change

"We cannot hold onto anything forever. Time changes, things change, and so does the world. We cannot undo these changes and we cannot force them into whatever direction we would like them to go. They will happen, and we have no power over how or what happens. We can look back on certain memories and wish we still had them but we don't, nor can we bring them back. We must learn to accept the past and move on to endure more memories, which in time will also fade. We may want to hold onto the present time forever, never to change, but it will. People will grow old, friends will be lost, friends will be found, people will be born, and people will die. Every loss comes with a winning. Without pain we cannot truly appreciate joy. We learn to see how time changes, and as time passes by, so do people. Everything changes. Nothing as you know it today will be the same tomorrow. Every living thing will pass away. Life comes with one guarantee, death. Then you begin to notice how much one life can make such a significant difference and impact on the world. In a good or bad way, everyone makes a difference."

Current mood:  excited
Category: Music

Hey everyone... Due to my current "excited" mood, I'm going to tell you about my new band Karmacode, and besides, what better topic to write my first blog on.

Well the band is pretty much Crossflow, without the singer, which leaves Jordon on drums, Jamie on bass, and myself on guitar. We reunited about two months ago after an indefinite break from each other which lasted a year or so. It's so good to be back playing with the J's and the music we're writing for Karmacode pisses all over Crossflow's material. For those of you who didn't know Crossflow, ignore this paragraph lol.

Yeah, i know the name Karmacode is a little different, but so is the music so it couldnt be more appropriate. The style we're playing is heavy rock... kinda like Three Days Grace, Nickelback, Disturbed, 12 Stones type stuff.
All we need is a singer to complete the line up and then we will be gigging and recording in no time. I have a really good feeling about this band and where we're heading with it.  I'll post another blog once we find a singer, till then remember the name... KARMACODE!!
