Since I was working in uni most of today, I didn't have much oppertunity to make a post on the actual year anniversary (GMT at any rate). All those still experiencing December 1st. Good times.

I'd just like to extend my extreme gratitude to all you folks for following and hopefully enjoying the comic this past twelve months. News-wise its been a bit quiet, but there is lots of fun stuff in the works. AfterStrife 3D is hotting up, with almost complete character setups.

Here is a preview of Stitch in three dimensional glory. Fun.

Nice little midweek update from me here.
I've got a pretty epic guest strip down at Dueling Analogs today.

I've always considered starting a gaming comic, but morally speaking, its the equivalent of shooting fish in a barrel. Not to slate gaming comics, but they don't really need to try all that hard to gain a readership ... so they don't.

At any rate, go check it out. Its got it everything you could ever desire
- open wounds, sexy grandmas and flamethrowers.

Ok folks. I've made a decision about AS Volume One. They will be available through the site until November 19th. That is when I shall tally up all the orders and fill them.

But I shall be getting them shipped to me first. Why? So I can sign / personalise them, and fill them full of goodies to thank all the kind folks that pre-ordered them.

From November 19th onwards, they will be available to buy online, but I shall have nothing to do with the process, so no such frills will be attached.

So yeah, if you wanted a signed, fun filled volume. Get an order in before November 19th, or come visit me at the UK Webcomix Thing, where I'm notoriously poor at drawing under pressure.

Right. I'm gonna keep this nice and short, as I am some what delirious with illness.

Today's Comic features some more of you fine supporters of the comic. Now when I made note of your names they were Icka, Ariana and Basilisk. So hurrah.

Ok then folks, dunno how much you've heard about the Kids' Book Project but you should all get involved.

Mike has slaved to round up over 50 of the best and brightest artistic talents on the webcomics scene (including your's truly) to embark on a truly unique project. Each artist is given a page (either previous or next) and they muct contine the story. Sort of like Chinese whispers in comic form.

I did my page the other week, have no idea how it will fit into the rest of the book, but you can be darn sure that with the likes of Ryan North, Joe Dunn, Jon R and Ryan Estrada on the case (to name but a few). Not to mention the absolutely adorable cover by Miss Liz, its bound to be a piece of webcomics history.

But that's not even the best bit. All profits will be going directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation which helps children with terminal illnesses. Its a great cause and a great book.

They're only £6 a pop, and there's only a limited number of copies, and I'd hate for any of you guys to miss out on this treat. So you should all get ordering.

Ok folks. AfterStrife Volume One is now avaialbe for pre-order. Its pre-order since I still need to proof it (don't want anything wrong).

I may well be bumping up the price of the book soon, since as it stands (when comparing to my invoice for the original) I will be losing a dollar on every book ... which isn't very cool, so order now and save some money (and waste mine) while I wait for confirmation.

Also the first 50 pre-orders will be put into a draw for some hoodies that will be going spare, so pre-order now to get in on that action.

Today, I have a guest strip down at Gunnerkrigg Court. I love doing guest strips. Its a way to stretch myself artisitically and creatively, as well as see how ridiculously anally retentive some webcomic readers are.

I hope you guys aren't keeping count of how many time Stitch's fringe has swapped sides ... cos its lots.

So stuff has been a bit all over the place in terms of getting the book printed, due to unforseen circumstances Jeff won't be publishing it, instead I'll be getting it printed myself and he will be distributing.

Although there won't be anything fancy like ISBN numbers, it means I can get it up and out nice and quickly, so all you fine folks can get ahead of the game (if you so wish)

A proof copy is currently in the works, but once that's arrived its ful steam ahead. I'm very proud and happy with how this book has turned out, and hopefully you guys will be too.

Here's what you'll be getting :
- Author Commentary on all 96 strips
- Forword By John Allison
- Author Introduction
- Exclusive 4 page DTV Cribs Special
- After-HOUSD 2 page bonus comic
- Exclusive promo artwork
- FAQ

In other news, the hoodies are off to print, I've written a full Bestival Report down in my blog, and I bought a skeleton on eBay for a project I intend on fast tracking. Stay tuned.

So I figure since I'm not going to be around on Friday to post news, and there's another 20 minutes til Heroes, I may as well post a little something in here.

What with the book finished (and soon to be winging its ways to the printers) I wanted to take a bit of a break from comics, but today I got back into the swing completing the first strip and a half of Chapter 6. Its going to be a very involved chapter, full of action and exciting things.

Also, I have a guest strip down at Pirate & Alien. You may wish to check that out, and if you want to see any of my past guest strips, I have a guest strip archive down at HOUSD that I shall be updating with my new ventures (may even give it a bit of a redeisgn as well).

Don't forget shirt pre-orders finish on Friday (although since I'll be away til Monday - that's when the final count will be made). To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed in the number I got, but c'est la vie. No more AS shirts on the horizon.

If all goes to plan, I shall be rockin' on the Isle of Wight all weekend, if anyone else is attending Bestival I'll be dressed like a pirate.

So I've been revising all day, so this blog post is actually a break for me.

Today's strip is thoroughly strewn with you good people. So props go straight out to Jade, Mike, Ambler and someone else, who I can''t actually find again. So yay.

I've had a bit of a guest strip bonanza recently, not because I really wanted to, but because I'm such a ridiculously generous soul. The first of which to be posted is today's guest strip down at Tangentine.

It stars myself and Jodie (creator of Handrawn Zoo). We lived together last year, so its in celebration of that horrific superfun period in my university life.

Little known facts about Handrawn Zoo. I am in fact the basis for one of the main characters, and Tangentine is actually a domain name I owned, but never used, so I gave it to Jodie. So now you know (and knowledge is half the battle).

First off, I've decided to extend preorders for the t-shirts / hoodies until September 7th. Hope that's an agreeable situation for you all.

Now if you've check today's comic, you may notice a couple of seedy lurkers in the background. I guess thanks and congratulations should be extended to MikeyB, Iffy and Anonymous Spinster. Don't worry if you're not in the comic yet, there's a fair few comics for you to make it into.

I'll be posting progress on further multidimensional exploits in the Pics section, so stay tuned for that.
