The Courteeners will play a very special live gig on Friday
11th December at Manchester Central (formerly G Mex). This exclusive
one off date will be the largest the band have ever played and promises
to be a truly amazing evening with support from very special guests Buzzcocks and The Whip.
Liam: "Trying to keep this show a secret since we confirmed a month
ago, has been tough to say the least. Headlining Manchester Central at
Christmas time, with Buzzcocks and The Whip in support - how are you supposed to keep that quiet?
For me it's the beginning of the next Chapter in our story, just before
our next record is released. It's almost a year since we played the
Apollo gigs in Manchester, so we've been building up to this for a long
time. Come December, we'll be ready to explode. I can't wait. Merry
F***king Christmas! LJF x"
Tickets go on sale 9.30am this Friday 4th September at www.gigsandtours.com /
www.ticketmaster.co.uk
The band are currently in the studio working on their second album. Stay tuned to www.thecourteeners.com for updates from the studio.

now then.
How is every one dealing with the summer?
Go to itunes and download "Out in the Streets by the Shangri-La's", the best 79 pence you'll spend this week. A moody slice of gorgeousness.
We're in Sunny Brussels with our studio hats on. All is going to plan. Take Over The World.
We've been messing around with the video camera too, so we'll probably be posting bits and bobs on here.
Keep your eyes peeled, and your shoes well heeled.
