Updates!!!

I'll be making podcasts soon! Yes! Podcasts! They will consist of some of my favourite vintage and vintage inspired tunes! If you know a band that would want to be featured, or are a band that play some awesome retro music, send me a message and I will feature you on my podcast!!!
I will let you all know when I'm finished my first recording :)

I'm hopefully going to do another shoot with Dark Works Photography this weekend! If the weather remains nice, I forsee some great shots. I get to work with one of my absolute favorite models! CARS!!!! Nice ones. Old ones... Prrrr....

So stay tuned for more updates about that shoot!


My website host is being a bastard and i'm afraid the site might be a lost cause. I'm sorry about that guys!!! You can see all my pictures here on my myspace page for now. I'll try and get another one up if I have any spare time. I might contact that very lovely gentleman about using his webspace again to set up a new page.

I have only a few shoots up in my gallery so far. I hopefully will be working with a few new photographers as well as my dear Dusk this summer to add to that collection! After creating the site, I've decided to enjoy the ride of my modeling for a while longer.I've also added a donations box to my myspace profile for those who requested it!

Whew!

The long haul to my summer break is over. I have just finished my first year in my illustration and design course and am now a free bird until August!

A bit has happened since February so I'll fill you in!

I shot with Shimona Photography as planned, and you all saw the gorgeous results of that one! What a great photo shoot. I had a great time! If you haven't seen the photos yet, head on over to my gallery!

I also managed to make a trip over to Victoria to work with Ian and got the great Lotus Super 7 car photos you can see in my gallery as well! I love those photos, but MAN was it cold out! It's hard to model in a bikini when being blown with 3 degree celcius winds. But I had a great time! I am going to go back over there when the weather gets warmer, because the photos turned out great and I enjoyed working with him!

Our final project in photography class was a magazine spread, so I actually got around to taking photos of my own models! I am most proud of these images:

Hopefully I'll get to work on some more photos this summer. I was feeling pretty content with my gallery of photos and maybe retiring from modeling, but I'm not 100% yet. I'll just hang around a bit more :D

The month is almost over!

I didn't get to work with Ian Photography as I had hoped, some personal things came up that had to cancel our shoot. It's no problem! We can always pick another day to shoot!

Last weekend me and Dusk went down to Seattle to meet up with my two favorite photographers, Alex and Brian! We had an amazing time! I had never been in such a gorgeous studio, I must say! I felt very unprepared. Luckily the guys had some ideas of their own which you have seen in my new pictures from Brian! The photos should be on their way soon, and I'll post them as soon as I can!

Last night me and Gus (fabulous makeup artist) got together with Dusk and Gus did my makeup! Me and Dusk did a tiny shoot together. I'll have those up sometime tomorrow night for you to gander at! Gus said I looked like Marilyn!

This Sunday marks my shoot with Shimona Photography and the sultry PRECIOUS METAL! That's right! Miss Jeannie is teaming up with the infamous burlesque model Precious Metal for a great shoot on Sunday evening! I'm not sure when we'll see the results of that one, but I'm very excited to model with a partner!

Next month also has opportunities galore! March brings spring, and change! I have a plan to go over to Victoria for another shoot sometime in the middle of March. Lots of things are happening for me!

I'm also thinking of starting my own website off of myspace. Myspace just isn't what it used to be, and I need to add a bit of class back to my image! If anyone knows any great web hosting sites, please message me pronto! I'm trying to find one that suits my tiny budget! Let me know!

Here's the scoop for February!


I have three shoots lined up in a row for February! This is going to be one great month! Next week I hopefully will be shooting with the fabulous Ian Redd in his studio, and will have my makeup done by the ULTRA fabulous Gus! He did my makeup for the Dave Dutton shoot, and I'm anxious to get him on board for me again! He's such a sweetheart!

The next weekend, for the Valentine's day weekend I'll be traveling south to visit my very favoritest gentlemen, Alex and Brian!!! I cannot wait for that shoot, it's going to be a blast! And I have some great wardrobe lined up I got from an amazing store called Vaudeville Kitten! It's located at 980 West 15th (at Oak St) in Vancouver! They have some gorgeous real vintage items there! I'm going back really soon! I may also have a very special outfit if it's delivered in time! It suits me and my name quite well!

On the 24th I plan to have a double shoot with the infamous Precious Metal!!! This girlie and I have been talking about doing a shoot together for some time, and finally found a femme fatale to snap away! I'm very excited about that weekend, I can't wait to brainstorm ideas for that one! If anyone has any requests, wardrobe requests or certain themes or poses they'd like to see, I'd be happy to do my best to see to them! Message me or post your ideas in my blog!

This month I am also going to start auctioning off personalized signed prints of me! If anyone has a certain picture that is their favorite and would like a signed photo, please message me and I can see if I can print them!

I can't wait to start shooting and to show you all the great kick-off to the year 2008!

You can also view this fantastic print in my photo section! This would make a pretty cute gift! I love what Jonathan did with the print, I think it's amazing. Recognize anyone? All the prints are up on the store. Each one comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Jonathan and myself! In pink sparkly pen, no less!

The pictures were mailed out, so I will review and edit them as soon as they are in my possession! I think a few have turned out nicely. I can't wait to see them!

Tomorrow is my 21st Birthday!!!

I'm meeting with a Model Mayhem photographer after cake to do a shoot at a studio he rented. I'm so excited to be taking photos again!!! I haven't had a shoot since the summer! Gosh that's been a while, hmm? I miss my Seattle guys, Alex and Brian!!! I haven't even been keeping touch. What a horrible girl I am! It's been insanely busy at school for me, so I apologise guys!

So after we're done, hopefully he'll get the photos back to me soon so you can see what I come up with!!!
