Shake hands,

No, the headline doesn't entitle my new studio album ...

There are two things to bookmark:

01. The "Speed Of Snow" EP will be on sale this Sunday. Because this isn't a Moonpop release, we only got a few copies for sale and please have in mind that it's a limited edition. Price will be 17€ + postage (signed if you like). Visit www.cybersounds.org

02. In early 2007 we've staged a pretty successful stock sellout at our internet store. Now, two years later we would like to give you the opportunity to take part at our second inventory-clearance sale at www.cybersounds.org which will start this sunday (21st of June).
We need to make some room in our racks right now so we've fished out some really nice collectibles and rarities for you which are taking dust here at our storage.
Please remember that all articles are only available in very low quantities and some just as an unique copy. Prices won't be cheap but we'll try to keep them below Ebay.

May you do well!

more info (as usual) at: www.moonpop.org or www.cybersounds.org

Pong,

My passion for video and computer games should be known by now. Anyway, a few months ago a friend of mine has created a little "Breakout" style proggie for fun and according to that I've made a short soundtrack tune for it. This project will be updated continuously and most likely I'll do a few more tracks to help to keep it alive. If interest is growing we'll probably have a full soundtrack release in the future ;-)
Any feedback or suggestions are welcome!

(Size approx: 5.3 MB, Multiplatform support: WIN, MAC, UNIX)

shake hands,

time for an update:

three new songs on the jukebox:

01. The Speed Of Snow - my first christmas tune was available as free download on www.cybersounds.org and will soon be available on CD with two additional tracks. originally we didn't want to make a release out of it but we got an offer we couldn't refuse :-=. watch out for this fine product which is a stopover until the next studio album comes out (when? no idea!).

02. D.I.T.S. (Jerome's Redux 2008), 03. Sun Son's Seal 3 (Retouched 2008) - 2009 seems to be a reissue year. big parts of the "Tangerine Dream" catalogue which were deleted for some time now just got re-released by "Membran" (a big company located in hamburg). aside from the republication of the already known albums, we got the chance to create two exclusive compilations called "Axiat" and "Vintage Vanguard". last one is a selection of rarities and remixes which were never available before. "D.I.T.S." and "Sun Son's Seal 3" are some typical D(ream)M(ixes) style tunes made by me in 2008. these releases hit the market under the "Tangerine Dream" flag but unfortunately, Myspace does not allow to customize the "band name" on their jukebox so even the TD tracks appear under my name. Not that I mind, but why ... ?

anything else?

i'm currently casting vocalists for the "powdermelt" project. the music is almost done and i am in an upbeat mood that we'll have a release in 2009.

fortunately, i finally found a copilot for my live activities so it is highly probable that there will be some live performances coming up in the near future.

then, i just got back from vienna where i spent a few days to visit my family and i also met my creator (EF). after a few bottles of ice tea, moist cake and sushi we had some quality conversation about a few projects which may be of interest for the one or another (don't worry, no reunion). but the plot thickens! details to follow ... !

spring around!

best,

jerome

Hello again ... I know, it seemed that I disappeared from the scene for some time and perhaps it's actually not such a bad thing, because I worked a lot in the past few months and recorded some new material. The "Powdermelt" project already counts about eight tracks but unfortunately my next solo effort moves on slower than expected. As a convenient excuse I came up with the idea to donate one of my newest recordings to my listeners for FREE! OK, to clear up things right away "The Speed Of Snow" is a song about the winter season OR drug addiction ... cause I want to agree to disagree ;-) ... whatever. More info about getting the tune can be found here. Enjoy the music and HAPPY HOLIDAYS to all of you and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! See ya in 2009.
As usual you'll find more infos on www.moonpop.org

hi all,

after some time has passed we've redesigned our webstructure. some visual things will definately have a deja vu effect to the long time fans around here but a lot of details were changed. fortunately we finally got rid off our "buggy" CMS system and switched back to good old html. so from now on, we are able to update you with information in a shorter period of time. but why all the blah? move over to the network!

you can use the usual links:

www.jeromefroese.com, www.moonpop.org

hope to see ya at the shoutbox!

hey there,

gosh, 2007 is almost over ... therefore I uploaded some new tunes on the jukebox for your listening pleasure over the holidays and beyond. SMT is going quite well so i had no time for an earlier update, sorry.

the new titles are:

Airborne (taken from my new solo album "Shiver me timbers")
Cartoony Universe (a track from SMT as well)
My Reality At 52 Degrees Of Latitude (taken from my 2005 debut album "Neptunes")
Decoding With Celine (LIVE 2006) (another title from "Neptunes" as a soundboard recording from a gig in London 2006 - DOWNLOADABLE!!)
Quatermasters Nightmare (the last and also simultaneously the newest TDtitle i've composed within my 16 years TD membership. released last year on a ltd. EP which is already long sold out)
Stratosfear (Jeromes Krautrock Blueprint) (a dream mixes style track i made last year, which will probably never see the light of day on a record release. main intention was to
remix TD's "Stratosfear" in a way like a rock band would have played it. credits here go to baumann, froese, franke of course.

that's it for now.
happy holidays to all of you!!!! (and a happy new year as well :-))))
and now enjoy the music

best,

jerome
