Last night for me started with an unmeasurable level of excitement as I don't really get out much at the moment and I'd recently got wind of a club night I figured was simply unmissable.

Two producer/DJ's that feature heavily on the Phat Club on the turntables in Morgan Zarate & Eric Lau (who happened to be celebrating his birthday on the night Yo Happy Birthday Sir!!) and to top it off much professed about OX resident OlivierDaySoul was also in the house for a live P.A.

I say that but last night technology, the web and social networking made an absolute mockery of me I knew Mr DaySoul was to step on stage at 9 o'clock so myself and my girl headed out at 6 the coach got moving at around 6:30..... plenty of time blissfully unaware that the map we had printed from the facebook event page was about to send us to a whole other Market Place.

I can tell you now that when we arrived in Market Place, East Finchley we were pretty sure we were in the wrong place cue a disappointed mope towards where we should have been Market Place opposite Oxford Circus where we'd already missed the live performance and I was beginning to the the gypsy dude strumming some crap between Highgate and Camden was all I was going to hear music wise.

I am glad I didn't just hang my head and venture home as I did manage to catch the last set of the night by Mr Zarate and he laced it just to be able to say some shit like FROM SOUL TO SOUL TO BLACK MILK pretty much explains the set.

I'll definitely be returning on the 14th of December and I will never put my faith in google maps again I'm traveling the old school way truss me!!!

Big shout out to all that support what I do I've been away for a minute really just trying to get my promo game straight but it has given me a minute to watch what has been going on in this beautiful city (The O).

In this time my relationship with GTA has now extended to me being the groups tour DJ which is beautiful as I was really beginning to hate being a club DJ. So I'm now once again playing music which is close to my heart and I get to go back to my more nerdy roots.

The Debut LP The Way will drop early 2009 and although I was there for some of the recording of this LP and witnessed some of the drama's that have caused the delay it is definitely worth the wait a lot of crews round here yap about putting Oxford on the map..........f**k off. So wether the tracks are your cup of tea or not I just need you to know that I've witnessed what really needs to be done just to get off the ground and seeing dudes I know doing it is what kept me going. Big up Chima & Neff.
