Venom will be embarking on a tour of South America this coming December 2009!

The band's management commented, "we started looking into the possibility of organising a Venom tour in South America a couple of years back, Venom have a massive following in Latin America, and now that the band's Agent has organised a fantastic tour with the Promoters, the band immediately agreed to take time out from recording the new album to start their rehearsals for the tour."

The dates are as follows:

December 5th - Mexico DF, Mexico - Circo Volador
December 6th - Bogota, Colombia - Teatro Metropol
December 9th - Santiago, Chile - Teatro Caupolican
December 10th - Buenos Aires, Argentina - Teatro Flores
December 12th - Sao Paulo, Brazil - Victoria Hall

Hey everyone -

"Hell" has now been officially released in the US as of yesterday, and most places I looked at are in stock.  A couple of places online that you can get it:

www.rasputinmusic.com

www.amazon.com

If anyone has any other links to stores in the US to buy this from (or for that matter, anywhere that you ordered the CD from in the world), please post it on the BLOG on the front of the profile as to help others find the CD.  And of course, it will be good for me to have as resources for later.  =)

Thanks much!

Hey everyone!

Just a quick note to let you all know that the Greek show at the Rock Em All festival has now been CONFIRMED!  Venom will be headlining on July 20th, 2008.

Also - for those of you that have been waiting for word about the US release of "Hell"...  the release got pushed back and is now set for release in the U.S.A. on the 12th of August.  The album is being released through Noise / Sanctuary and will feature two bonus live tracks, "In League with Satan" and "Burn in Hell", which were recorded on their 2007 Scandinavian tour.  A limited edition vinyl will also be released.

As well - if there are any people who have seen (or taken) very good quality photos of Venom at Hellfest 2008 and/or very recent interviews that are good, please send the links to me here.  I will be posting a blog and bulletin with quite a few links soon.  Be sure to put something like "Hellfest pics link" or "New interview link" in the subject line, please.

Thanks very much for the help and patience!  METAL!!!

Hey everyone, just a few new things going on in the Venom camp -

First, the new album, HELL, has been released all over the world!  If you are having a hard time getting it because it is backordered, be patient - Venom just happens to be more popular than the stores were expecting, I guess.  =)  You can also see a promo video for HELL on the Venom website by clicking the link below:

http://www.venomslegions.com/multimedia/venom-promo1.htm

As well, I have added a few new promo photos to the myspace profile.  I have also made new photo albums and divided the old pictures into their respective albums so it is a bit easier to find.  I will add more of the logos later on as well as some more live photos.

Also note that Venom is NOT playing in Spain, regardless of the rumors!!!  You will only know CONFIRMED gigs by going to the Venom website or checking here on the myspace profile.

That's about it for now - cheers, as the Venom guys would say!

Okay, well, at least a compilation of songs from the new Venom album "HELL" are now available to hear.  They are streaming in the multimedia section of the official website.  You can get there by clicking here:

PS -

I have heard from several of you that cannot hear the new tracks streaming on Venom's website.  There are a couple of things that might be causing the problem.

~ You have your speakers turned off or down (believe it or not, that was a couple of people's problem!)

~ Your connection is too slow (people with 56k or slower will not really be able to hear it, other than a bunch of buffering)

~ Apparently, people using Mozilla (Firefox) browser cannot hear it.  I opened it on Internet Explorer, and I hear it just fine.  So you can try that possibly?

Hope this helps all of you!

I have just added Antechrist and also Witchin Hour to the profile.  Please update your profile mp3 player if you had any of the old songs on there.

Also - this profile, because it's older, only has a maximum of four songs that I can upload, unlike all these new band profiles that allow five songs.  For this reason, I cannot possibly please everyone with the choices of songs.  Venom has quite a number of songs and not everyone will be happy, but I have taken into consideration what the band requests to be put on here, what I like myself, and the songs that have gotten the most requests.  Maybe someday myspace will get smart and allow bands that have been here a lot longer to have the five song mp3s, too.

One other thing that I don't know if people are aware of, but I will be putting on the front page of the profile soon.  HTML comments are DISABLED on this profile.  That means if you are trying to post a picture in the comment section, it will just show the actual html and link, not the actual photo.  I will delete any comments that have this, just because it looks quite strange on the profile and often messes up the centering of the comment section because the link is long.  As well, if you are posting comments only to promote your stuff and has nothing to do with the band itself, it will get deleted.  This is by request and I do this with all the band profiles I manage.  It's just easier for people to read the comment section without all this excess stuff on there, I'm not trying to be mean.

On that note, have an isane weekend and hopefully some of you can get out to some halloween parties!
