spent the last two weeks in Sunny San Diego having a really great time with christine and her friends.

I love; la jolla, rolled tacos, crunchy rolls, sea bee-bees, corona, torrid, double espresso over ice with a little bit of soy milk in it, m'en voulez-vous!, hookah, baras, vanilla chai lattes @ kennsington, the black in OB, sinbads in PB, and looking for sea shells after midnight, baklava @ the livingroom, saunas, rose incense, goat cheese, kids meals @ seaworld, alligator lizards, Liz in general,

i don't love; sunburn, lestat's, casinos, the rice krispies @ kennsington, live mice in the bedroom (thanx jolie!), rabbits that pop out and make me squeel, know it alls, snotty baristas.

awesome trip, i joournaled the whole thing which was a first for me, a good experience over all. i hope to continue journaling over the summer documenting discoveries, influences, ideas and inspirations.

today is Matt and I's 3 year anniversary. I don't know what else to say about it without getting all mushy and fairy tale about it. I bought matt a pretty sweet bike for a combination anniversary/birthday present. he takes it off jumps and stuff. heh.

i took pictures of the bustier i made, it's size 12 if anyone is interested in buying it. i'll put the pictures up this weekend. it's pretty hot! i'm making more size 12 clothing in the next month, they will be done by may 5th i think. so wish me luck on my finals!

Now that i have a few minutes to catch my breath i updated my website with all my new collections, and a new layout so tell me what you think about them(the collections and the layout of course!)!!

so... i might be having an overnighter with matt to monterey this week, i hope. i need a vacation so bad it hurts!

well for all of my faithful raidio listeners, sorry the amy show wasnt on this week. 87.9 art interferance radio has been shut down by the FCC. men in black suits came into the dean's office and told us that we must comply with part 15 of the FCC regulations. so we are only streaming online now, which is still cool, the only radio i listen to is on the internet anyways! otherwise life is pretty good, school is busy, i got an extra shift at work (yay money!), still no computer but I'm makin' it! for my friends who have been feeling lost here recently remember: your dreams and your passions are your best compass and doing what's right for you can never be wrong!!

i know it took me forever but here is the link to my holiday collection that i did in nov/dec. http://pomo.cca.edu/~ahanson/novdec.html i am now hard at work of my very first spring collection, if you are a fan of Lacoste you my enjoy it because thats who i am supposed to be designing for, it's kinda fun to pretend but it's also a good lesson to learn that you're not going to start out with your own line i will have to start out working for someone else and have to design under their ethic and aesthetic. speaking of working for someone else the old navy/gap/banana republic just moved their giant design head quarters to San Francisico and they are offering internships with a 50%
hire back rate. so there is a good chance they will be my first job. but who knows. wouldent that be crazy, i will have gon from boycotting them compleatley to kinda shopping there to designing for them. life is so unpredicable....

two days ago i had 90 friends, now i have 89....  where did that friend go, why did they go and who was it?? 

EDIT:  well i figured out who it was, it was beefy.  what the hell beefy??   too much of an internet celeb for me i guess.   i was your number one fan!!  and definatly your fan with the biggest tits.  *shakes head*

im still sick, i thought it had gone away after new years but i got back from having an awesome time in b-ham and my mom gave me back the cold i had given her.  but i finally went to the doctor and i am medicated but have yet to see any relief!!

i am leaving monday the 16th to go back to oakland. for everyone that wanted to know

i feel really insecure about going back to oakland and not having a car.  i feel so trapped sometimes.  having a car makes such a difference in my ability to do quality work for school, live comfortably and eat semi-inexpensivly/ healthy and sometimes even eating at all!

 

and as always i am accepting donations and applications for sugar daddies and/or mommies!

so saturday was my first official day off from work and school and what do i do but catch some sort of cold.  i had been fighting off that stuff all semester, i thought i was home free!  aparently not!

 

so i have been home since monday and no im not hiding out, im just sick and have a lot of christmas shopping to do.

i was at the mall yesterday and i swear to god if you stand in one place long enough you will run into everyone you graduated with.  i finally saw dwen yesterday for the first time since june 2002.  she looks great and she's married and is stationed in san diego.  im so glad she is doing really well for herself.

i got an A- in my design class this semester, quite excited about that!  i brought some of my presentation boards home so i can show ya'll what i spend all my time on...

 

well that's it for now i guess...

i don't even have time to be posting this blog. i have been soooooooooo busy with final projects and making x-mas presents and trying to organize and arrange all our stuff into the new place. sigh, i need new clothes too. i don't have any warm clothes to go home in or nice clothes for holiday get togethers. shopping is indeed in my future... i can't wait to go home, but im wondering what is going to be the big dissapointment, some times things are too good to be true. like the rubber band effect, everytime something good happens the rubberband gets pulled tighter, and then tighter and tighter and tighter until POW!! somehting big and bad happens and the rubberband is all loose again, and the cycle starts all over. i'm excited but skeptical...

i know it's been forever, but i have been through a lot here lately. first, our apartment got broken into(10/20/05), stole two laptops my ipod all of matt's dvd's cd's and video games, game consoles, his pasport and social security number and his credit and debit card, basicaly his identity. needless to say im shook and can barely stand to be alone there anymore, sleeping is hard, i'm always hearing things. I'm a nervous wreck and im becoming angry/rageful, which is so not like me that it's scary, and it's because i feel so vounerable and powerless. I feel like my personal space was raped, i can't look at anything in the apartment or recall any memory had there without it being tinged by the images burned in my head of when i came home that morning to find all the material things i have lots of emotions and memories invested in torn up and thrown to the floor without any regard. i definetly need therapy... on top of dealing with my own stuff it had been unspeakably hard helping matt deal with the contintuing theft that he's experiencing with identity theft. after taking as much as he could from his bank credit card and debit he went to the bayfair mall and with matt's SSN and opened up 5 new credit cards and proceeded to max them all out. we didn't find out about all of those until a week later. it's been absolute hell. going to school and trying to function during all of this has been insane as well but i do have 3 new collections to show everyone and a newly redesigned website! so give it a look and gimmie some feedback!! i almost forgot my own birthday shit has been so crazy, i don't think im really doing anything for it though, don't feel much like celebrating, but now that my stuff is gone ya'll can buy me a new ipod and the new imac g5 that i have been drooling over!

i've been busy i guess, i shouldent be on here posting a blog right now, i will have more stuff to show you after wed, so i should wait and post a blog then, but no, i must procrastinate now! Clique! thats he link to one of my marker renderings, i did 2 weeks ago and im already starting to hate it, but that just because the ones this week are better and the ones im going to do this weekend will be even better but still suck a few days later. i love school, i just wish it didnt make me so tired.....zzzzZZZZ i saw dirty three in concert last night... sweet musical bliss....:)

omg puke coming out your nose and flying everywhere but the toilet is the worst possible thing ever. i think while i was at the doctors being treated for a killer bladder infection i managed to contract some awful flu where you have a fever and sweat like crazy but feel cold and shiver and shake and cant hold anything down and your gag reflex is super sensitive so when you try and take your pills to make you better you loose them in some fashion of projectile vomiting. :( i hate this, and im missing school which i hate even more. i think i need to work on complaining less, i'm sure most of you will agree, but thankyou for being too nice to say anything about it. :)
