My heart is moved by the thought of you I wait left to wonder My mind it dreams My heart it moves I get that feeling...
I know you will follow Him and He’ll lead you here I pray for you my love And someday soon You’ll call my name And I’ll come runnin’
But for now, until then I will wait My eyes to Him, my heart is His That’s where I’ll be I’m at His feet That’s where you’ll find me
There will be a day when we’ll stand before our God With our hearts together You’ll take my hand We’ll say those words Here’s my forever We’ll walk through life With love so deep My friend my darling
But for now, until then I will wait My eyes to Him, my heart is His That’s where I’ll be I’m at His feet That’s where you’ll find me

I come to You Eagerly I seek Day after day My heart and flesh are weak My heart and flesh are weak
I ask You why You do not see me Only for a day Do I humbly come Do I humbly come
Keep your feet from breaking Delight in the Lord There you'll find your joy In Him If you call He will answer He'll say "here I am" Your life in the shadows Will be in the light Will be in the light
You say that I Should love like You To the least of these Your glory will appear Your glory will appear

Here is my song, I wrote it just for you I told you I would sing it just for you I'll sing you these words, that my heart wants to say Hold them in your heart, and remember what I say When I am far away from you...
You have watched me grow and you had to say goodbye So hard to see your baby be so far away But I know our love...has grown I'll still forever lay my head upon your chest Hearing your heart it beats with mine My cup overflows I love you
See who I am, I am a part of you This beauty and strength, I learned it from you I love how you pray, and the words that you say I rise and call you blessed, please remember what I say Each day that I'm away from you
You have watched me grow and you had to say goodbye So hard to see your baby be so far away But I know our love...has grown I'll still forever lay my head upon your chest Hearing your heart, it beats with mine My cup overflows... I love you

I was reading a sermon by John Piper entitled "The Beautiful Faith of Fearless Submission", and loved these words he spoke...
"A Christian woman does not put her hope in her husband, or in getting a husband. She does not put her hope in her looks. She puts her hope in the promises of God...She looks away from the troubles and miseries and obstacles of life that seem to make the future bleak, and she focuses her attention on the sovereign power and love of God who rules in heaven and does on earth whatever he pleases. She knows her Bible, and she knows her theology of the sovereignty of God, and she knows his promise that he will be with her and help her strengthen her no matter what. This is the deep, unshakable root of Christian womanhood. She does not fear the future; she laughs at the future. The presence of hope in the invincible sovereignty of God drives out fear. Or to say it more carefully and realistically, the daughters of Sarah fight the anxiety that rises in their hearts. They wage war on fear, and they defeat it with hope in the promises of God. Mature Christian women know that following Christ will mean suffering. But they believe the promises like 1 Peter 3:14, "But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled," and 1 Peter 4:19, "Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good." That is what Christian women do: They entrust their souls to a faithful Creator. They hope in God. And they triumph over fear."
OH!! That I would be that woman!

I was checking out the Girl Talk Blog and they are reading through the book "Doing Things Right in Matters of the Heart." One of their entries talked about this quote from the book...
"Sisters, all the advice from Vogue, Glamour, and Cosmopolitan that talks about going after and getting your man, all the blather about how in this day and age it is just as acceptable for you to initiate as for him, is just that-blather. Be confident and trust your feelings on this matter. Be confident that if he is the man you hope and wish him to be, he will play the man. You crackle the leaves a bit when he is in the area and let him know you are there. Then wait for him to initiate, or not. In the long run, you will be well served either way." Doing Things Right in Matters of the Heart, page 94
Something the blog writer said was this..."Mom used to remind my sisters and me of this story when we were tempted to try to get some guy's attention. 'Allow a man to win your heart...and if he doesn't want to, then why would you want him?' God created men to initiate and he created women to respond. Or, as John Ensor (author of the book) also puts it, "His power is in the exclamation [of love]. Yours is in the echo." When we remember this, things will work right in matters of the heart."

Current mood:humbled
Check out this video. A friend shared this with me and it is powerful. I can't watch it without weeping. The thought of Jesus fighting for me humbles me.

How are you living? Are you living content with the fullness that is found in Him, Or are you content with the fullness that leaves you empty. I do run sometimes to nothing. Do you hide when you get there like I sometimes do? Why is this nothing, the nothing that I make into something? Something that I long for instead of You. Something that doesn't know me as well as You. Something that fills me but only for awhile Something that is nothing Disguised as beauty my eyes are drawn to its attraction My eyes are blinded by light that isn't pure Once again I run to nothing Hiding when I get there.
