Amazing how fast a year goes. Young Liam just turned 1 year old. Hmmmm?? Great stuff happening at the moment. New record coming and another one later in the year. Songs are sounding great. Will be heading all over the country when it is completed so stand by for the dates. Starting off with the Katherine country muster and some Sydney shows in May. Melbourne Shows coming up in June for the southerners and hopefully some regional Victorian shows. Back up to Brisbane and the North coast and our first visit to Roma a bit later in the year. Stay tuned for the Nymagee fest details on the 31st of October, the best little Festival in the world, with the BEST lineup.
Had a great couple of ACT shows in the last month or so plus a couple of crackers down the coast at Central Tilba and Tuross. Thanks for all the great feedback.
Grand Banks asked me to do a fill in for Jason Walker in the Band which made me feel very priviledged and a little bit out of my depth, but Adam was happy and the band rocked. Thanks for having me guys alwaysa fun playing with y's.
More news soon,
Cheers

Been down to Melbourne for a couple of shows. One Word...AWESOME. (Thanks for the Accom Waz) Thanks to Chrissy and the Greyhound Hotel in St Kilda, and the Lomond Hotel in Brunswick once again. Great rockin' shows and a preview for Tamworth Country music festival. The Band is on FIRE!!
Shows at Tamworth are at the Longyard and the Courthouse Hotels and details are posted in the Gig section.
Thanks to everyone for coming out to the shows over the last few months, it is much appreciated.

Well hi again folks. Just returned from some great shows in the Victorian capital with The Remains. Thanks for the shows again boys. How good is it playing in Melbourne? The people there just love there live music. Its obvious when they don't know what to expect when your billed as country. With a bewildered look on there face at the start and then they stay for the whole gig. AWESOME!! Thanks to everyone who saw us at Transport in Fed square. I'm glad I could sell you some CD's. (otherwise I would have gone hungry) Grunter Bedford, the nicest guy in Roots music, played drums on very show with me and then with the remains, an awesome player. It was an honour to play with you dude. It's great when people come up to you at the windows to say hello. Hopefully be back down in the first week of January with the band. Back to the grind and more shows coming up in Sydney on the 11th Nov 07 with Chucks Wagon at the Lansdowne hotel, City Rd and Broadway, in Sydney. Hope to see a few people there. Keep the flag aloft, Roots music is IT!!. Cheers

Well shoppers, thanks for turning out in your droves in the last month or so. All my shows have been filled with excellent people except for that one dude in Tamworth who was politely excluded from the festivities at the Albert Hotel. By the way, great to play in the refurbished Albert and to meet the ever so tops, Snow. Thanks buddy for the gigs.
Moved though Melbourne and up via the ACT to Tamworth and back down to Maitland for the first time. Rockin out at the Junkyard seems to be tradition in the old Maitland, with a visit from Johnny Green. Should have some footage up in the next week or 2 of that show. Thanks to everyone for coming and thanks to the Waz E. James Band for backing me with such ROCK action. Awesome!!
Shows coming up at the V8 Festival in Bathurst then back down to Melbourne for some Remains gigs and an Instore, Some shows in the ACT (See gig listing) and shows with Bill Chambers(details soon). Hope to see a few of you out there banging heads.
Hee Hoo, until next payday,

The Melbourne shows were fantastic, cheers Tonch, for the curry.

Back to Melbourne for a few more show and YES, it was cold. Great place the old Melbs, tops for people coming to your shows.
Had three fantastic gigs. They were all with the Waz E James band. Great muso's these boys. No rehearsal and it was like I'd been playing with them for 15 years.
The Greyhound in St Kilda was an awesome show. Last time I played at the greyhound was with the Late great Ian Rilan (RIP), this time it wasn't quite so loud. Great gig, congrats on your new drums Davey Boy.
The Retreat was a little different with a Stompbox set at the start and then into the Country soul with the band, again supported by the amazing Was E James band. Great to see Dallas, Jefsy and Helsy loving the tunes. Dave had cut down the kit to a proper roots music set, being Kick and Snare (thats all) and was absolutely Marvelous. Until the Pipe burst and we got flooded out. Ace GIG!!!
The Lomond..... What can I say? The people in this venue were sooo tops. Thank you all for being so attentive and respectful. It was a pleasure playing for you. I will be back hopefully at the start of September.
Thanks for the Lend of you gear Waz, You are a tops kinda dude.
Until Rock returns........... DEN out!!

Welcome back rockers, Tamworth was an absolute hoot and for those who didn't go...... tsk, tsk, tsk! Gigs went well except for loosing my voice but people still cool to and bought CD's. Maybe I can try virtual gigs like the Costa brothers did. Nothing like watching those guys playing an RSL, on DVD. Thanks to Mick Daley for the Mmmmmm exercise for my voice, Karl Brodie for the Coffee, the Roadsiders for the awesome sounds especially Ronnie Rindo and Roy Rodgers (TOPS), Kazzy for breakfast chats, and the duo in front of the Inland cafe for the tinitus, WOW! We had some great crowds with excellent folk sending photos back. Massive thanks to Kris from Melbourne for the Rock shots at the Imperial and for being patient with my dodgy voice. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement as well. Thanks BUCKY for everything else! It was tops having my Girls there and watching Molly in the crowd going off, excellent. We hit Tamworth again on the 22nd of Feb, should be a hoot!!
Woo Hoo!!
