Finally its the argument that started it all: Imagine, if you would, a universe wherein Darth Vader and Magneto somehow manage to coexist. Imagine that one happens to scuff the other's Pumas. Imagine what would happen next. We did just that very thing with our guests Jared and J. In addition we were aided by a more active than usual studio audience, who kept busy by passing notes and asserting their two-cents. Music for the "Jared vs. Syd: smallest dick contest' was by Papercuts (one song was even written especially for this very argument).

Its 'Team Right' vs. 'Team Wrong' in the government-implemented smoking ban debate. Syd is obstinate. Jonah stutters a lot. 'Team Wrong' (Jason and Mike Lewis) assault us with "so-called" facts. This episode is aurally enhanced by Shedding.

Our most inane argument yet is also our longest to date. We are joined by our guests J and Chris, who help us decide which is the superior state. Todays music is by Mr. Panda, a band that aptly mirrors the importance of such a profound debate.

Jacob returns, joined by Vanessa Molden, to further alienate himself from society. The discussion is the definition of 'good' in the arts, specifically music and movies. Naturally nothing is solved, but Syd manages to get Jonah to refer to M. Night Shyamalan as a 'biter'.

In an attempt to truly understand the validity of our space program we somehow end up discussing Marky Mark, Somalia, The World Cup, and of course Syd's Mom. Our guest, Jacob Miller, weighs in on these matters and offers to let Syd filter his piss. Today's music is by Tauri SB

The Argument is taking a brief winter break. We've got a lot on our plates and all of this holiday hoopla only confounds matters. We don't want our quality to slip for the sake of quantity.

There is good news though. Jonah may get a job with better hours. Of late, he's been working a split shift between two jobs, which cuts heavily into his sleep. The goal here, is that when he can get regular sleep, and can work regular hours, he hopefully would be in a better position to participate in the argument.

Also, I just bought a computer. They're like magic to me. I'm basically like an old man looking at an 'Intendo' when I see a computer; they just don't make sense. I'm thinking though, that I can probably figure out how to do some editing, so I can pick up some of the work load. That'd make things faster too.

So, we will take a few weeks off, but we will come back with some strong topics in early January. Didn't want anyone left in the dark on that.

Episode ..13 - Super Special Edition...Vests (?!)
This week on a very special episode of the argument, Jonah and Syd fly guest free, in a debate over the utility of vests. Also included is the first set of outtakes that you may or may not care about. Be warned that although this is the shortest argument to date, there is much more to come. You can read that as a threat.

If anyone is interested I posted the unreleased Teen Pregnancy! album on the argument site. We put a lot of work into it and then did nothing with it until we broke up. So instead of letting go to waste something we were all quite proud of I thought i'd make it available to anyone who might give a shit.

So download and consider what could have been...sigh.

or

Download and then discover the glory of Lee Van Cleef.
