Australia: ----------
RUNS was released retail on 21st October, and can be nabbed for $14.95 from JB HiFi and Big W - call before you go shopping though, as they've not huge stock, and have been selling out. (also heard that EzyDVD can order it in for you for $9.95 - not confirmed, but that's crazy cheap!).
South Africa: -------------
RUNS played to a Halloween audience at the SA Horrorfest in Capetown, unfortunately the kid, mortgage and jobs meant we couldn't be there - but apparently everyone had fun! Cheers to Paul and the Horrorfest gang for screening RUNS!
US: ---
RUNS is now available in the US 'ON DEMAND' through the end of November with over 35 cable, satellite, and telco operators including:
Charter, Verizon, AT&T, DISH Network (VOD), Insight Communications, RCN, Armstrong Cable, Bend Cable, Blue Ridge Cable, Buckeye Cable Systems, Cameron Communications, Cincinnati Bell, CL Tel, Click, Community Television Company, D&E Communications, Duo County Telecom, EPB of Chattanooga, Guadalupe Valley, Hotwire, HTC Conway Telco, INS (Des Moines), Massilon, MUS Fiber Net, NTELOS, NuLInk, One Source, San Bruno Municipal Cable, Service Electric Cable, VTMS, Wave Broadband Cable, Wilkes Barre Cable, Wilson Cable... phew
Parting words: --------------
So don't download a shitty pirated version of RUNS and watch it on your 14" computer screen in your basement. Get it ON DEMAND in the US, or grab the DVD and enjoy the loooong unrated, uncut shower scene ;)
And we promise to stop going on about RUNS soon, and start on the next film!
Cheers, Doug & Stace.

Here's a link to the Frightfest page: http://www.frightfest.co.uk/iknowhowmany.html Thanks to everyone who's been a part of the Runs, or who's waited patiently for it while we juggle work, baby and film! Current mood: happy
Hello!
Mnemonic Audio (Melbourne) - are a talented bunch, and we are very happy to have them on board to take care of the dialogue mix, foley, sound design, stereo/5.1 mix etc!!
So, we have to get them the video locked version via funky AAF/OMF file (Pro-Tools compatible project format) within a couple of weeks, and then they'll go hell-fa-leather on getting the film finished.
While Mnemonic are doing that, we'll be colour-correcting and grading the film, as well as completing the opening sequence and credits etc.
Then it's off to the distributors to sort out a deal! (and hopefully it'll be good timing to get it into a few film festivals).
Thanks for your patience!
Cheers, Doug.
PS - oh, and our kid's started walking and Stace has a nice shiny new job ;)

Hi, Top-bloke and seasoned film journo Dave Michael Brown popped over recently to see a RoughCut of The Runs... Fortunately for us, he liked what he saw (despite the sound mix and score not being complete, and some extra editing required here and there). Read the review on Dave's blog on the Frightfest (UK's biggest horror film festival) site. http://www.frightfest.co.uk/davedownunder16t.htmlCheers, Doug. PS: we're getting there! Aiming for picture lock end of Dec, and then getting some pro's to finish of the sound mix...

Hi Folks,
The New Trailer has just premiered at Frightfest UK, and from all accounts the audience liked it and it looked great up on the big screen.
We've just uploaded this new funky trailer onto MySpace (called 'I Know How Many Runs You Scored Last Summer - New Trailer'!) - sorry, but we've had to censor the rude bits :)
We're currently getting the film ready for DigiSPAA (Post Production competition here in Aus) and the North American Premiere at Silicon (HorrorYearBook) in October.
TTFN, Doug & Stace.

Current mood: chipper
Bringing the Runs to LondonNext week we're braving that SYD-LON 20 hour flight! It'll all be worthwhile though, as we'll be able to hand over our new little bundle of screams to the grandparents and let our hair down for a bit. Currently putting finishing touches to a new trailer (to be shown at Frightfest in London in August). We're also shooting some nice little scenes to spruce up the backstory (and what's a slasher without a decent screwed-up backstory?!). We'll be in UK for most of August and will head to London for a couple of days to talk with some sales agents, distros and some fellow low budget film makers - so please get in touch if you're keen for a beer!
Check back for more info soon! Cheers, Doug & Stace.

Test Screening was successful - many thanks to everyone at the Dungog Film Festival. It looked great up on the big screen, and we got some valuable feedback. We're now doing a small re-edit, tweaking the score and improving some pacing in places... we'll then get it out to film festivals and distributors. Watch this space! First confirmed festival is the SiliCon in San Jose Oct 5-7 2007 in association with HorrorYearBook.com - thanks guys!
