Well, we hit up Austin on the 13th playing at Headhunters. Now that's a town! WoW! Talk about crazy. We rocked out in the patio that evening and went around shooting film for the tour meeting a LOT of cool people. One of which who was superbly helpful. . .Billy. Thanks again soooooo much man.
Billy showed us some hospitality like none other! We really appreciate it! We played the following night in Austin again gathering an even larger crowd and having a wonderful night as well as making some new friends like Zenith Fuzz Bomb, Malory, Mike, Roger, Gwen, Sergio and M.C. Tony Tone Live. . .

Hitting up early the next morning parting ways with Billy we continued on our journey to Baton Rouge.
Now that was a LOOOOONG incredibly hot trip.
We met some fine folk on the road once we hit Louisiana. . .and they directed us to a delictable place to eat where we ate frog legs, catfish, jumbo, and of course, some poboys. . . .

Eventually arriving at our destination in Baton Rouge we shared the stage with "Carry The Torch" and "The ShotDown". . .some really cool guys on tour as well. I think they'll be in New Orleans tonight. . .

As for now. . .we're in search of a place to stay...the nights are hot here. . . .and the days even hotter.
We have some repairs to be made in the morning and we're quickly discovering the hardships of the road....especially finacially. We look forward to Birmingham Alabama tonight. . . That's where we will find refuge to gain some more funds.

The United.

So last night was El Paso at Underground right below Hush. Now that was a crazy place. A TON of CRAZY bands played that night in a huge basement. Not bad for our first date of tour despite the fact that Sebastian destroyed the PA several times during "Counter-Clockwise". . . Apparently his vocals were to hardcore for the poweramp to handle that it literally began to smoke several times resulting in an explosion that took out half the block. So they continued through a small Fender amp compliments of Kamakazi Koal and finished the night.

After about 2 hours of sleep, we were back on the road again heading to Austin. . . .nothing but dirt, a lot of sarcasm and flies that could kill small children. . . .
Let's see what tonight has in store at "Head Hunters". . . .

The United - Press Release 2.03.08 - Music Video
Albuquerque New Mexico

On January 27th 2007, The United completed the principal photography for their first music video. Though the song is undisclosed, it is safe to assume that it is from their newly released DEMO EP. (Currently available for download on myspace)

The band worked hard into the night completing every angle to realize their vision. They are very excited about the results, and believe they have exceeded their own expectations. The footage is now in postproduction and will be completed by the end of February.

The video footage was all shot on a set and entirely designed, directed, shot, edited and produced by The United. They wanted to create a new atmosphere and personality of that particular song all while giving fans something new.

The band is really excited about the video and believes it will be something that their fans will be very excited about.

The band is now sorting through photo stills from the production and will be releasing them Monday February 4th. Look for them on their myspace page.

This is their first music video and is also the first of numerous visually based projects scheduled within the next year. Due to the bands strong interest in this medium, their fans can expect more from the band in the way of visual art.
