The December/January will go on sale Monday, November 26th at 10 AM Pacific! We've been doing some thinking here in Sampler Town and have decided to lower the price of Samplers by 10%! We really do want the Sampler to be affordable to as many people as possible, while still keeping our ship afloat. I super promise you we're all working very hard to make you happy!

If you're in the LA area this weekend, you really should come visit us at Felt Club!!! Felt Club is a fantastic event put together by the always amazing Jenny Ryan! There will be oodles and gobs of craft goodness from oodles and gobs of crafters! Plus, Lynn and I will be down there spreading the Sampler love and selling miniSamplers, Samplers Select and City Samplers!

It would be great to see you there! Felt Club is a seriously happening craft fair!

Lynn is extremely busy getting the November Gallery completed, so I am filling in for her over here in myspace blog land! Do you miss Lynn? Here's a picture of her to tide you over...

HERE IT COMES!


The November Sampler will go on sale this coming Tuesday (October 30th) at 10 AM Pacific! Thanks to our Contributors the November Sampler is our biggest to date! We will have several hundred November Sampler's available, so rest assured that there will be plenty to go around! If you're curious as to what's in the November Sampler, please check out the Gallery -- it's almost completed! Lynn is working on the pictures for the 25s right now!

When Tuesday rolls around, the November Sampler will be added to the The Sampler Shop for purchasing! There will also be a post on the site (http://www.homeofthesampler.com) that will lead you directly to the product page.

If you haven't visited the shop lately, you may notice a few new products! The Sampler is extremely happy to announce the Collaborative Prints project! Our first print is by Axelhoney and was hand-printed by our own Alison Gordon:



Over 300 of these prints will be included in the November Sampler! But, if you can't wait till then, they can also be purchased in the shop at this link.

There are also two Samplers Select available for all your gift-giving needs! These are special versions of the Sampler featuring all Sampler-exclusive items we've custom ordered from some of your favorite Contributors! Right now we have two Samplers Select available: our debut issue Home and our Sleep Edition! Here's a little peek at some of the awesomeness:

San Francisco: it's not just the setting of Full House no mores!

Team Sampler is working on yet another new project: City Sampler! City Sampler will focus on artists, crafters and small businesses native to certain locales across the country. Along with samples from Contributors in each city, we'll be including a ton of information, maps, promotional products, postcards and more to give each recipient of the City Sampler a real taste of the local flavor.

Anywho, right now we're working on our home base: San Francisco!



... and we'd like to invite people all over the Bay Area to participate. The basics of contributing to the City Sampler are:

* minimum 10 sample contribution, max 100
* promos in all City Samplers, plus promos in the Sampler -- as many promos as you'd like to send!
* product photos in the City Sampler Gallery
* business info in every City Sampler Guide included in every City Sampler (no matter how many samples you send in)
