PREFACE: I am still trying to conceptualize blogging. I feel like it is a little impersonal. However, it is very much part of our generation, as is technology/the web/file sharing. Just lettin ya'll know where I'm at... dig?
To *everyone* who was out at Bill's Bar last night:
First off, thank you all for sharing last night with us. I know many of you traveled far distances and some had to wait in the cold. Good looks on the patience and support. There were folks from all walks of life sharing one common space... such a beautiful thing. The vibe was a positive, respectful, and energetic one. No fights no drama... we couldn't ask for anything more. To put it plain, last night was one of our most fulfilling events to date, and we thank you for that.
To The Press Project, The Ride, and Boatyard Resin, you guys rocked!!! Thanks for adding to the night's energy. Hope to play with ya'll soon in the future. Also bigups to Lionel and Onslaught Entertainment, we couldn't have done it without you.
We are all amped to keep playing and building with all of you. We will keep everyone posted on our upcoming events, art, and thoughts. Please do the same. And, for all ya'll who copped the EP, please give us feedback when you listen, and watch out for the full-length album being released this summer. Once again, thank you ALL for your love and support.
Onward, -ZULLO CREW

tuesday night
a note from behind the chapman stick
the show on sunday night at matt murphy's was one of those rare music experience for me. it's not often that the music and the musicians connected as one entity but when they do, you'll get a show like the one on sunday night.
i'm not sure if many of the people there may notice, but half of the stuff we played were made right there on the spot. The song "guilty" was one of the examples. Zullo as a band never performed that song before. justin lead of the song with a beat box and a simple melodic line. after a few bars, the band were playing the beats of the song. the beats in the hook of the song came from no where and it seem to worked well with the song. it's always a deep experience when the "music" just comes to the musicians with no warning. To me, this is what music is all about.
