We just wanted to give everyone a heads up as to what the current status is with Earth to Eros. Currently we are taking a hiatus of an undetermined length while John and Jenny await the birth of their second child, which could be anytime between now and the next two weeks. The undetermined downtime will be at the very least throughout this summer. However, whenever we do start back we plan to immediately begin working up new material (some of which has already been written) for a new release. Whether it will be another EP or a full length cd will depend on our time/money frame at that point. We will keep you all in the know with any new details or updates.

The heavy Huntington sound continues in Earth to Eros, the new combo of vocalist/guitarist John Lancaster, bassist Barry Smith, and drummer Rusty Knight, all veterans of the Huntington scene. Less trancy and less overall heavy than Lancaster's former band Chum, Earth to Eros is more song oriented than groove oriented, with faster tempos, up front vocals, and more traditional alt-rock song structures. We have finished tracking our 5 song EP titled "Black Naked Eye" and are currently in the middle of the mixing process. Mixing and mastering is being handled by our friend Russ Fox at Broadmoor Recording and is nearing completion. Stay tuned as we'll be updating everyone again really soon.
