STILLBIRTH

Dnešního odpovídajícího jsem našel díky novému albu „Plakative Aggression“, které vyšlo ve spolupráci s Rotten Roll Rex kdesi na západ od našich hranic. Jedná se o grindcoreovou kapelu STILLBIRTH, kterou v tomto skromném rozhovoru zastupoval jediný původní a také zakládající člen Lukas Swiaczny, který si již druhým rokem užívá s obměněnou sestavou nejlepších let v dosavadní desetileté existenci kapely a brázdí tak státy celé Evropy. Ovšem kapela neusnula na vavřínech a už nyní pracují na nadcházející desce.
Zdravím tě. Kapela byla založena někdy na začátku roku 1999, avšak na první desku jsme si museli počkat víc jak pět let. Zkus mi říct, co se v začátcích dělo a proč tak velké množství personálních obměn?
Nazdárek. Na začátku bylo hodně těžké zrealizovat kapelu a udržet ji. Žil jsem ve vesnici, kde žilo max. 1000 lidí a další velké město bylo takřka 50km daleko. Jak si asi tedy dokážeš představit, moc muzikantů tady nebylo. Na kytaru jsem začal hrát někdy v roce 1999 a vlastně hned za pět let jsem udělal první desku. V té době jsme své nástroje ještě nějak dobře používat neuměli, he, he. Na první desce „Happy Stillbirth Party“ můžeš slyšet v roli basového hráče Hipolita Cembalu, jeho bratra kytaristu Maximilian Zembala a bubeníka Philip Kurschus. Hypo s Maxem z kapely odešli, protože chtěli nadále hrát hip-hop. No a Phil odešel, protože jsem se odstěhoval pryč. Krátce po těchto událostech jsem se seznámil s Dominik König, a tak jsme společně kapelu urželi při vědomí. Před dvěma lety jsme našli bubeníka Andreas Haffner a chvíli na to také kytaristu Sebastian Stolaczyk. Někdy v té době jsme začali realizovat materiál pro společné split album s dalšími třemi kapelami. Na začátku letošního roku nás opustil bubeník Andreas a na jeho místo usedl Andree Kress. V té době jsme nebyli vůbec spokojeni s děním, a tak jsme se poohlédli po zpěvákovi a našli Matthias Scholz, který je pro nás obrovským přínosem!

Ty jsi zakladatel; má tvé slovo při rozhodování jakéhokoliv charakteru velkou váhu?
Hm, dobrá otázka. Obvykle máme stejná práva se k čemukoliv vyjádřit. Je to taková ta kapelní demokracie. Myslím, že je to velmi důležité, když mohou všichni vyjádřit svá přání a nápady. A není to důležité jen pro rozmanitost po stránce kompozic, ale také zvuku. Zda-li je s určitými věcmi spokojena většina kapely, je to na dobré cestě!

Německo má poměrně dost grindcoreových kapel jako například COCK AND BALL TORTURE, MUCUPURULENT, GUT apod. Prosazení se na tak silné scéně není vůbec jednoduché. No ale vím, že vám se v současnosti daří velmi dobře a máte poměrně dost koncertů nejenom v Německu. Máte nějaký recept k úspěchu?
Jediný recept je práce! Každý den trávím víc jak dvě hodiny ze svého volného času u Internetu a snažím se propagovat naší kapelu stejně jako Dominik, který dělá to stejné. Také potřebuješ muzikanty, kteří jsou ochotní cestovat dlouhé vzdálenosti v rámci koncertů. Za tímto vším stojí jak mnoho promotérů, tak i vydavatelů a dalších kapel. Rovněž i my pořádáme koncerty…

Co se dělo v kapele v mezidobí 2004-08? První životní náznaky jsem objevil až v roce 2008, kdy vám vyšlo společné split album. Do té doby se po vás skoro slehla zem.
Bylo to nudné období… Jen jsme hledali nové členy a psali nový materiál opravdu jen v rámci kytary a basy. Až v roce 2007 jsme vše překopali díky bubeníkovi. Takže až od té doby jsme jakoby opět ožili.

Aktuální deska vyšla pod záštitou Rotten Roll Rex, kde vyšla rovněž i deska pro letošní rok kapely SPASM, kterou, jak vím, dobře znáš. Znáš ještě nějaké jiné kapely z Česka jenom v rámci grindu?
No jasně. Hodně mám rád AHUMADO GRANUJO, ALIENATION MENTAL, CHOKED BY OWN VOMITS, MINCING FURY, KRABATHOR… Ale opravdu znám spíš jen kapely z podobného ranku, než-li nějaké populární.

Byli jste už někdy také u nás v rámci vystoupení?
Ne, doposud jsme u vás nehráli, ale to se již brzy změní! V rámci Mutilated festivalu v Praze v 27.července se vám už konečně předvedeme. Opravdu se těším! Doufám, že to nebude poslední zastávka v rámci České republiky.

No výborně. Zkus nějakým způsobem české fans nalákat na váš koncert. Na co se mohou návštěvníci těšit?

age Naše show bude prostě peklo. Vyburcujeme fanoušky až do bodu varu. No prostě maso, a protože to bude náš první koncert v České republice. Přivezeme spoustu merchandise a všechen bude jen pro České fans za minimální cenu!

Tuším, že nejdál jste doposud byli v Rusku, je to tak? Při jaké příležitosti jste tam zavítali a co na tebe udělalo největší dojem?
Ne, to nebylo Rusko, ale bylo to podobné. Bylo to Rumunsko. Původně jsme do Ruska hrát jet měli, ale náš zřizovatel to nějak nedořešil a vše ztroskotalo. Nakonec jsme se vyřítili na turné po Rumunsku, no. Ono to bylo vlastně takové mini-evrospké turné. Začali jsme dvěmi zastávkami doma v Německu a pokračovali přes Maďarsko až tam. Bylo to opravdu skvělé! Zažili jsem perfektní okamžiky a získali hodně zkušeností. Fanoušci byli hodně šílení a naše koncerty si užívali opravdu hodně! Ale budeš mě muset omluvit. Zrovna teď si kromě toho, co jsem už napsal, nevzpomenu na něco, co mě dostalo fakt víc, než zběsilý fans, atmosféra a koncerty jako takové…

Co tě ovlivňuje při skládání materiálu?
Tak to je různé. Jednou je to nálada, podruhé jsou to politické hádky a politická situace u nás, která je místy opravdu smutná. No ale někdy je i z takových věcí fajn skladba. Jsou prostě dny, kdy sedím a píšu v jednom kuse, ale jsou rovněž dny, kdy nenapíšu nic, a to se můžu snažit jak chci. No ale proto mám v kapele další lidi, kteří mi pomáhají a novou desku budeme psát všichni pohromadě!

Můžeš mi prosím tě zkusit porovnat první desku s aktuální? Kde se udály největší změny v rámci realizace od předešlého kousku?
Aktuální deska je mnohem profesionálnější. V kapele mám v současnosti mnohem lepší muzikanty, než-li kdy dříve, a tak je i hudební spektrum otevřenější než dřív. Kompletní obměnou prošel i zvuk, na kterém se také zapracovalo. Tak asi takhle nějak vypadají STILLBIRTH dnes.

Cítím vlivy slam deathcore a zapojení elektronických aranží. Můžeš mi naznačit, jakým směrem by ses v rámci nadcházejícího materiálu chtěl ubírat?
No, deska je oficiálně venku teprve třetí den a my už máme hotové další tři nové skladby. Můžu ti říct, že následovník bude rovněž podobného ražení, kde se bude prolínat death metal, grindcore, hardcore atd. Skladby jsou technicky náročnější a vlastní dokonce jazzové vyhrávky. No a rovněž kupu srandy, to aby tak chybělo. Uvidíme, kdy bude deska venku…

Bude následovat nějaké turné nejenom po Německu na podporu aktuální desky?
No jasně. Další turné bude v říjnu s kapelami VOMITOUS (Švédsko), DISTORTED IMPALEMENT (Rakousko) a SPIRITUAL RAVISHMENT (Rumunsko). Stále hledáme ještě nějaké termíny, protože máme ještě nějaká prázdná místa, kde bychom nikde nehráli, a to nechceme. Příští rok jedeme na turné do USA. Máme dobrého promotéra a kamaráda v Chicagu, který nám připravuje velmi zajímavé turné. No a někdy na konci příštího roku chceme začít pracovat na další desce. Už možná s nějakým větším vydavatelem. Kdo ví…

"Plakative Aggression" is the skull crushingly heavy first full length release from STILLBIRTH, a German band which combines all the best elements of old and new school Grindcore and Death Metal with a hint of 80s Thrash thrown in once in a while. From the roar of “are you ready for a riot?!” in the albums opener, ‘Riot Over Buhne’ to the devastating, and not so subtlety named closer ‘Kick The Shit Outta Your Face’ , STILLBIRTH deliver a steady stream of pure aural brutality that is never pretty but always effective.  Each of the 15 songs are full of pounding riffs and breakdowns that leave the listener with the urge to smash everything in the room and will no doubt become pit favourites sooner rather than later. ‘Steuerklasse 1 Und Keiner Sagt Danke’ has a riff that could easily have featured on an early DEICIDE record, while the short and sweet  ‘You Look Like Your Parents Were Siblings’ and ‘Talkshow  Brawl’ almost seem like homages to classic NAPALM DEATH. The band also shows a flare for moving swiftly from face melting blast beats to crushing, instant headbanging breakdowns. However it is when they are blasting that they are at their best, as heard in ‘Individual Related’. The musicianship is of the highest quality throughout the album. Drummer Andree Kress impresses with his rapid fire double kick and blast beats, which are especially impressive in ‘Individual Related’. He and bassist Dominik König do a fine job of keeping the surrounding chaos on track and in order, and Dominik bass also provides the songs with a few touches that grab the listeners attention, particularly his eastern sounding bass line in ‘Kick The Shit Outta Your Face’. Guitarists Lukas Swiaczny and Sebastian Stolaczyk also prove their worth with a fine array of riffs that are sure to go down a treat in pits in the coming years, particularly in ‘Kick The Shit Outta Your Face'. Lukas and Dominik provide the extremely powerful vocals that often reminded me of Matt Heafys vocal work with CAPHARNAUM. The addition of samples and techno beats in ‘Schmand An Der Hand’ and ‘Individual Related’ works really well, adding some originality to the proceedings and helping them stand out from other Grind / Death Metal bands out there. The production of the album is also of the highest quality as each riff as the recording never sounds like mush, a problem which is common on many Grindcore releases, and each instrument can be heard clearly. However, I feel the album would have benefited if two or three songs had been left out as, after a while, some of the breakdown riffs do begin to sound very similar. Overall, this is a great debut release from STILLBIRTH, which combines the best elements of modern and oldschool Grindcore and Death Metal that is sure to please fans of NAPLAM DEATH, JOB FOR A COWBOY and ALL SHALL PERISH. Stillbith - Plakative Aggression

New cd Stillbirth of the Germans, who are breaking molds.
Starting in 1999 with original members Siwaczny and Lukas Philipp Kurschus, Stillbirth saw a whole lot of different line ups in till mid 2008.
CD quite powerful mixing parts faster, with some breaks and a perfect pig Squeal brutal.
What I like and I'm impressed, no doubt, is the work by the vocal aspect, quite impressive, you hooked to the cd. A pig Squeal done to perfection and some voices predator, which give a poignant touch.
For the drummer who left nothing to want, maybe some more blast, but otherwise well-marked and perfect time in the breaks.
On guitar and bass looks very good, good sound and structures gigs. Very good sound without a doubt, I love it. Also has some impressive breaks, to move the head until you fall of the neck.
Great Stillbith cd undoubtedly, I've heard many (many) times and I love the song years old milf. Its great!!!

 From the northern reaches of the Rhineland in Germany comes Death Grind of a very high quality. They may be named Stillbirth, a word to put tears into the hearts of many but they don't give a flying fuck as their sole intention is to make nasty Death Grind to make you vomit in horror at their antics. Unlike a lot of Grind out there this band have a very enjoyable sound. Keeping things pretty mixed they have adorned their latest full length release 'Plakative Aggression' with a pig squeal mania which overlays some brutal grunting and all backing up the catchy riff-age and the sheer dexterity of the drumming. Stillbirth make great music, and the atmosphere is rotten and vitriolic whenever they are near so it is obviously job complete as far as these guys are concerned, and what you get as an avid listener is a lesson on how Grind should sound and a further lesson on how to make it stand out from the whole sweat covered putrid melee. STILLBIRTH gibt es bereits seit 10 Jahren. Doch scheinbar lief nicht alles so bei den Jungs, wie man es sich gewünscht hätte, denn die erste offizielle Veröffentlichung erblickt erst gegen 2004 das Licht der Welt. Weitere vier Jahre später erschienen noch zwei Splitveröffentlichungen und dieses Jahr erscheint Album Nummer zwei der Truppe aus Bilstein, NRW.

Auch wenn das Alter der Band vielleicht einen etwas klassischeren Stil vermuten lässt, gibt es auf “Plakative Aggression” newschool wie Hölle! Hier werden Elemente aus fast allen aktuell modernen Richtungen der brutalen und extremen Musik vermengt. Brutal Death/Slam Death trifft auf Hardcore/Beatdown und leichte Spritzer Death-Grind/Grindcore. Wie man bei einer so trendigen so angesagter Musik vermuten kann, klingen viele der Lieder ziemlich prollig. Doch denke ich bei Liedtiteln wie “Riot auffe Bühne“, “You Look Like Your Parents Were Sibblings” oder “Steuerklasse 1 und keiner sagt Danke” (Wohl der Titel des Jahres!), dass die Band sich selber nicht so ganz ernst nimmt und bewusst einen auf dicke Hose macht.
Zugegeben, diese ziemlich Breakdown-lastige Interpretation von Slam/Deathcore, oder wie immer man das nun nennen will, geht mir schon nach dem dritten Lied ziemlich auf die Nerven. Dabei verstecken sich aber dennoch sehr gute Ideen in den Liedern! Wenn etwas der Hardcore aus den Liedern genommen wird, und man etwas aus dem schleppenden Groove in schnellere Geschwindigkeiten los prescht, sind “You Look Like Your Parents Were Sibblings” oder “Talkshow Brawl” ziemlich nette Grind-Klopper. In ihrem eigenen Stil überzeugt mich “Happy Stillbirthday Party” vollkommen, das ist insgesamt der beste Song der Scheibe. Doch wesentlich interessanter finde ich die experimentelleren Songs auf “Plakative Aggression“! Die leichten Elektro-Samples in “Individual Related” passen wunderbar in die Musik und sollten weiter ausgebaut werden, hier kann man sich eine eigene Note verschaffen! Ebenso angetan hat es mir der etwas verspieltere Teil in “OTP“, der mich ein wenig an Cephalic Carnage

Potential ist bei STILLBIRTH vorhanden! Die Band darf nur nicht zu sehr auf diese prolligen Slam/Death/Core-Schiene versteifen, weil das aktuell die krasse Scheiße ist. Solange kann ich mich aber nicht sonderlich für “Plakative Aggressionen” erwärmen. Und ich denke, ähnlich wird es auch vielen Metallern gehen, die bei dem ganzen Core wohl eindeutig den Metal auf der Scheibe vermissen werden… erinnert.

STILLBIRTH, ambiciózní death/grindcoreová mlata ze sousedního Německa v tom nelepším duchu německých grindcoreových kořenů; ranných COCK AND BALL TORTURE a MUCUPURULENT. Parta pěti zarytých bláznů si po pěti letech a spoustě koncertů od Rumunska až k Dánsku uvědomila, že je na čase udělat zase nějakou tu oficiální věc. (Přeci jen se toho od první desky moc nevydalo a na kontě přibyla jen dvě společná splitka s několika dalšími grind blázny). Infantilní debut „Happy Stillbirthday Party“ z roku 2005 poukazoval na velké nedostatky nejenom z pohledu nenáročného konzumenta; fádní instrumentální realizace, vyumělkované atmosféry, infantilního vnějšku a prachmizerného zvuku, který byl snad ze zkušebny. V dnešním setkání číslo dvě mohu s klidem říct, že se kapela překonala a v rámci aktuální desky posluchačům nachystala doslova nesrovnatelný materiál. (Na který má vliv zřejmě i odlišná sestava, kdy z původní zbyl pouze Lukas Swiaczny.) Ovšem některé aspekty předešlého kousku lze zaregistrovat i nyní. Představí se nám opět skladby realizované v rodné němčině i angličtině, ovšem s tím rozdílem, že protentokrát je všechno zvládnuto lépe. Důkladná připravenost je znát prakticky ihned po prvních tónech; jen se opět zapomnělo na obal, který ani nyní moc rozumu nepobral. Někdy je přeci jen dobré zajít několikrát do posilovny, než začneme na holky v baru vytahovat bicepsy. Tahle parta si tam zašla určitě víckrát a je mi jasné, že o holky kluci nouzi nemají. (Zvláště Rumunsko bylo v tomto ohledu údajně velmi bohaté, heh.) V tomhle ranku, kde si servítky nebere nikdo s nikým, vítězí v podání STILLBIRTH fun nálada a uvolněnost. Jde vidět, že s perfekcionismem si parta hlavu neláme a drhne to jak jen se jí zlíbí. Bodíkem k dobru v této jinak standardní prezentaci primitivního death/grindcore je zapojení elektronických aranží, které v minimální míře obohacují celkovou strukturu a vzhled celku jako takového nabírá opět další rozměr; viz. „Plakative Aggression“. Nemluvíme však o větším než-li nicotném množství; což bohatě stačí, protože potom by toho mohlo být víc, než by kapela unesla. Dalšími prvky vypovídajícími o uvolnění a hravosti realizátorů jsou grunge/hard rockové kytarové pasáže; viz. „Stoner Boner“, pětistrunná basa a rovněž textová/hlasová recese, která se protentokrát pohybuje na poli třech naprosto odlišných pěveckých hrdel, které si občas musí prostě zařvat společně; viz. „Stoner Boner“. Kdyby vám však chybělo nějaké to grindcoretechno, vřele doporučuji „Individual Related“, začínající vtipnou debatou třech chlapíků na téma; „ti STILLBIRTH si to dávají, co? Jasně, že. Taky myslím. Jsou to borci nejvíc!“. To je panečku vál, taneční záležitost jak má být. Skladby se pohybují v rozmezí od 00:20 do 03:16 minut, a tak je jasné, že v rámci 25 minut jich na desce moc nebude. Je to skok poměrně veliký, ale v kompletním poslechu není nutné cirkus podobného ražení nějakým způsobem oddělovat a složitě rozdělovat; jednoduše nářez a když to skončí, tak zase znovu. Po této desce si troufám říct, že STILLBIRTH opět o kousek povyrostli a posunuli se k takovým CUNTSCRAPE, kteří prostě umí, ať si říká kdo chce, co chce. Avšak stále to není ten zralý věk, kdy víte, jak zacházet i s těmi nejchoulostivějšími orgány. Proto je dobré si každý krok promyslet. Doufám, že budoucí práce bude promyšlená ještě víc, protože kapela má energický potenciál stát se populární grindcoreovou mlatou.

 STILLBIRTH – „PLAKATIVE AGGRESSION“
 
 Obwohl „Stillbirth“ ja nun bereits seid gut 10 Jahren am Start sind ,und man eher die Vermutung hätte ,die würden so richtig schön in die old school Richtung gehen ,orientiert man sich doch eher an die moderneren ,super extremen Musikausrichtungen .Und trotz dieser “trendigen“ Ausrichtung ,kommen die wirklich überzeugend rüber und wissen mehr als zu überzeugen . Eher schwerfällig schleppend beginnen die Nordreinwestfähler ihren munteren Reigen. Aber bereits hier deuten die Jungs schon an ,was hier in der nächsten Zeit verdammt fett aus den Boxen quillen wird . “Plakative Aggression” vereint in erster Linie erst mal alles ,was heutzutage musikalisch etwas“ abartiger“ und vor allem extremer klingt . Das reicht von brutal Death ,über Hardcore ,leichtem Metalcore bis hin zu ner gehörigen Portion an Grind . Selbst so nen paar leichte  Tekkno Grind Einlagen (wie z.B bei Titel 11 „Individual related“ ) tauchen auf runden die ganze Sache noch ab .Die ganzen Extremausrichtungen hat man hierbei verdammt gut zusammengerührt und bringt beim Zuhören doch schon ganz schön das Blut in Wallung .Enorm fett und teilweise sogar ganz schön groovig , wird hier ne Mucke zelebriert ,welche bei der Extremfraktion ohne Zweifel auf volle Zustimmung stoßen wird . Hier sind’s vor allem die fetten Drums und das Riffing ,welche hauptsächlich die einzelnen Songs bestimmen . Dabei drischt man teilweise fast schon gnadenlos auf seine Instrumente ein ,ohne hierbei allerdings irgendwie völlig planlos zu klingen .Ne ,denn so ne gewisse Songstruktur ist hierbei immer zu erkennen .Die Riffs kommen hierbei meistens gnadenlos und geradlinig hervorgeschossen ,zeigen sich aber andererseits in nem eher merkwürdigen Stil ( Song 5 „ Tanken ist dekadent“ ) .Aber gerade das sind dann die Sachen ,welche einem wirklich voll im Hirn hängen bleiben . Auch beim Gesang setzt man nur auf Extreme .Tiefe growls ,hoher aggressiver Hardcore Gesang und die von mir allseits geliebten ,Schweine ähnlichen Laute passen hier natürlich wie die Faust aufs Auge . Auch so’n paar  eher lustige Sprachsamples dürfen hier nicht fehlen und sind zum Glück nicht übermäßig lang . Einzig allein beim letzten Stück stellen sich bei mir doch einige Fragen auf . ( siehe Interview ).Anfangs zeigt man ja noch Mucke ,aber danach kann man diversen Gesprächen/bzw. nem Telefonat lauschen . Mmmh ,wohl bloß ne Gag .Naja ,anhören kann man sich das auch mal ,zumal dieses Gespräch durchaus recht lustige Züge vorweisen kann .Ne schöne krasse Scheibe ,welche mein olles Metallerherz doch um einige Takte höher schlagen lässt .Mich würde es zwar freuen ,wenn die Jungs beim nächsten mal vielleicht nen bissel mehr auf Metal und weniger auf Core setzen würden ,aber ansonsten kann ich an der hier gebotenen musikalischen Leistung nix großartig aussetzen . Rotten Roll Rex have released some quality shit, and they’ve introduced me to some more or less unknown obscure acts I probably wouldn’t have heard of otherwise. They’ve also released official merch with some of the greatest gore and grind related bands the underground has to offer. So when I received a promo of their latest release I have high hopes; I mean with bands like Bowel Stew, CBT, Haemorrhage, Stoma, Hymen Holocaust (etc) in their roster they definitely have a sense for quality. So why the urge all of a sudden to release a subpar deathcore album? Sure, Stillbirth is labeled as grindcore, but there’s not a whole lot of grinding going on. I think they’re trying to sound original, having a laugh and not take things so seriously. But what you wind up with is a mishmash of genres, not really performing any of them extremely well.
Riot auffer buehne starts off with an extremely heavy slamming death metal section, offering a very tasty headbanger friendly tempo and supreme piglet squeals. But suddenly you don’t really know what to think as tons of hardcore is thrown in, pretty much to the point of classifying it as metalcore. The main vocals turn out to be crusty hardcore screams instead of gurgling gore. Moving on to the next track (don’t worry, I won’t make this a track by track review, just trying to make a point here) Faces of meth it starts off as nu-metal, for crying out loud, only to disintegrate to a somewhat old school grindcore recipe, which in turn is ruined by more metalcore. If we jump forward a bit to Stoner boner you’ll suddenly hear a Rage Against the Machine-ish guitar thingie, utterly annoying clean vocals, hardcore choirs and whatnot. I mean what the hell is going on, this isn’t grindcore.
I have absolutely no idea what to make of this. They mix grindcore, nu-metal, metalcore, death metal and so much crap it doesn’t make sense. There are only a few tracks where they really show off their blasting skills and sound any good. There’s certainly nothing wrong with their skills, they can definitely handle their instruments, and the sound is pretty good as well. But this mixture of Devourment, Napalm Death, Born From Pain, Slipknot, Linkin Park, Sick of it All and Black Flag just makes it all too diverse. It’s annoying.

Im Jahre 1999 erblickte bereits im kleinen, aber feinen Sauerland diese Undergroundcombo das Licht der Welt, aber erst im Jahre 2009 schaffte man es, vie Rotten Roll Rex ein Album herauszubringen. Die Burschen sind keine Unbekannten in der Szene, besonders Pumba dürfte den ein oder anderen Helden des Alltags bekannt sein. Wenn ich mich richtig erinnere, ist das auch die deutsche Hawaiihemdfraktion. Sei es drum. Scheisse, das gefällt mir richtig gut, was die Burschen machen und vielleicht sollten die Burschen mal mit Ebola Beach Party auf Welttournee gehen. Die Jungs mischen Grindcore, Death Metal und Hardcore zu einer richtig geilen Einheit. Irgendwo zwischen Napalm Death, Job for a Cowboy und Japanische Kampfhörspiele. Gesanglich wechselt man zwischen Gequieke, Gegrunze und Schreigesang hin und her und das klingt wirklich geil und vor allem abwechslungsreich. Kein Song klingt wie der andere und zwischendurch werden immer mal Sprechsamples und auch Technobeats werden verwendet, wie z.B. bei "Individual Releated". Krasses Album, muss man schon sagen, sehr geil gemacht. Hier ist von Geblaste bis zum Gerocke (Years old Milf) alles dabei. Die Texte sind teilweise auf deutsch und auf englisch. Hier denkt man wohl schon international. Jaka, Ebola und Stillbirth, das wär mal ne Bühnenshow. Kongenialer Grindcoreabend. Bis dahin schmeiss ich mir nochmal "Plakative Aggression" herein.

Saturday, recordings started for our new CD "Plakative Aggression".

Starting with programming clicktracks and setting up the drum mics, we recognized our equipment isn't that good, but anyway, we tried to get the best out of it, and it sounded quite well in the end in a very rough,pre mixed state.

Sunday, we started to record the first songs. We got 4 Songs ready until now... 10 left. So be prepared for the next news.

After nearly 20 hours spent in our "studio", Sebbe and me finished the guitars... it was tricky on some parts, but gladly, the longest song, and the only we really didn't expect that, was in the box after one take, uncut, live and raw.

On Tuesday, vocal recordings begin.

Okay, now it's my turn. After editing the shit out of the giant bunch of tracks we recorded, first roughmixes are finished. If you like the sound of Plakative Aggression, you're gonna love the final mixes :D
I'm most excited myself how they will sound in the end, but i think it's gonna be good, or maybe really good, or with a little luck even great. We'll see. Next two weeks are gonna be packed with hard work.
