But good old Walri is still there, innovating new tunes to thrill and inspire you.  And make you shake.

WOW we have a ton of shows, I can't even believe it.  We're going to make a lot of stuff happen this year, and follow it up with festivals next summer.

Look for more new pictures, more of me yakkity yakking about a multitude of subjects, and our brand new, fresh outta the oven, new born website!  The website should be up soon and features art by Russell Wyner (http://www.youtube.com/user/RussellWyner).

Love, rock, and love-rock,

...on our new tunes, members of Walri have been recording small projects with various local artists.

We've got a busy fall ahead!  And that means we can try out several new songs to trick your mind and treat your ears.

See you out there, in the outernet!

Our show this past Saturday night went well with Grandfather.  Gobs of old friends were seen, and as always, Mike Kirsch and his band of intense and thoughtful hipsters put on an energetic show that filled the room and swallowed us all whole.  Brian Dillon put on a performance that turned out to be a real slap in the face for several audience members.  They probably needed it.

We thank and love everyone involved, and are looking forward to our next New York.

Pictures are going up soon!

The air was thick as pea soup.  The women were broad and the men were even broader, but nothing could stop this ghostly train.  Strange, translucent though it was, its reasons were obscured by the loud whistle through the humid summer air, which through a white cloud of steam from its frowning mouth.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that we've been writing new tunes.  We all moved in together in June and its been a great time...in a few days we should have the place in tip top shape and we can post some photos.  But the air is thick with music here!  We'll also put some demos up soon...

We're playing with the Bicycats and Dr. Dog soon...that's odd actually, all animal names.  Woof.

We’re on tour promoting our new album PAPER CRANE!!  It’s our first "love-rock" album.  We’ve had an amazing time thus far playing in Burlington and Simsbury and our shows have been going well.  Thanks to all the awesome people we’ve met, danced with, hiked with, partied with, and played for.

We’re in Boston now, and tonight we’re playing at the Washington St Arts Center.  A Co-op...groovy.  Last night we jammed with Green Dave and Jonny D and Dan Rudolph until 2:30am, just like old times.

Anyhow the album will be available from this site soon, and you can even send us a myspace message or email to walrimusic@gmail.com and request that we send you an album through the mail.  We’ll have them on Friday!!

We got asked to do a battle of the bands.  Now is the time to strike, s-s-ssays the viper.  Come and be the guy or gal that gets hip to how square it is to not come and see what we do with our 15-20 minutes.

Thus, we decided to postpone the Boulder Coffee Show until November...we'll post up when it's booked!

ON RECORDING
Walri has some news for y'all.  We're working on the album and the first tasty fruit is called Cookin' and is posted as of TODAY!!!  The other tracks are coming along splendidly!

ON GIGGING
We've got a gig at the Black Pearl on the corner of Caroline and Meigs.  Every second Friday of the month.  We'll see you there.

To be honest, we're not gigging as hard as we could because we're still working on the album.  But I can't wait to finally finish the album and tour for it.  I think we'll go South this time, at least to Georgia.  Then maybe West.

Thanks to Sam Reich for helping with Apple Juice Studios.
