Karma to Burn is a heavy rock/desert rock/psychedelic rock band from Morgantown, West Virginia comprising guitarist William Mecum, bassist Rich Mullins and drummer Rob Oswald. The band were noted for their uncompromising instrumental sound, echoing that of such desert rock bands as Kyuss and the Obsessed. The band unofficially disbanded sometime in mid-2002, when bassist Rich Mullins joined Speedealer. Currently, Mullins is playing in the Los Angeles based band Year Long Disaster and Will Mecum is playing guitar for Treasure Cat. Karma to Burn has reformed to play a hand full US and European tour dates in 2009. New songs have been written and a new lp is anticipated in 2010 on Napalm records.

Keelhaul is a self-described as a loud, heavy rock band for people with short attention spans. The Cleveland, OH, quartet Keelhaul plays a dense, punishing hardcore/sludge metal hybrid that has fittingly led to a home on Hydra Head Records, which has also issued recordings by such roughly like-minded bands as Knut, ISIS, Cattle Press, and Neurosis. Their new album titled Keelhaul's Triumphant Return to Obscurity is out now.
