CD Release Preview -the Final Prophecy 2010. Plus Free pre-mastered MP3 downloads. NEWS: The Purple Tree is preparing to release their latest full length CD entitled "the Final Prophecy"! It is currently being mastered at "the Sound Lab" in NJ and should be on sale sometime in January 2010 at Amazon.com. The CD features songs from their live set-list and is the follow up to the 2006 EP release at Arlene's Grocery NYC. All songs have been re-mixed by singer / songwriter David Perry. Several new tracks have been recorded which were originally intended for the disk during the initial writing process. New to the recordings is Purple Tree's lead guitarist Ben Girnus. Plans for a CD release party in Chicago are in the works for March 2010. The new live line-up will feature David Perry, Ben Girnus, Aaron Zemelko, and Dave Wright. All proceeds from the Final Prophecy CD sales will be donated to the National Children's Advocacy Center to help in preventing child abuse. Stay tuned for more details.

The Purple Tree Project is talking of a "Final Prophecy" CD Release Tour for 2009. There is nothing solid, but the schedule is planned to include: Chicago IL, Valparaiso Indiana, St. Louis MO, Battelcreek MI, Cleaveland OH, PA, NJ, and NYC. This is all the information we have right now. Nothing is promised, but it seems that this will happen. Don't miss the oportunity to see this unique group... Stay close to not miss a date. The Purple Tree does not play Live too often, but when they do... Noone is disappointed!
