Instrumentista, Tony Gordon cresceu em meio à "nata" da música brasileira, convivendo com artistas como Rita Lee e Wilson Simonal. Em seu repertório não
faltam sucessos de Stevie Wonder, Tim Maia, Prince, Joe Cocker, James Brown, entre outros.
Edu Camargo iniciou sua carreira musical em 1991, influenciado por grandes nomes da black music internacional, como Diana Ross e Michael Jackson, além
de brasileiros como Djavan e Tim Maia.
O Rey Castro Cuban Bar é uma casa temática de São Paulo, que retrata uma construção colonial dos anos 50 de Havana-Vieja. Fica na rua Ministro Jesuíno

'Que Felicidade! (Ela Me Deu um Beijo)', one of the songs of my debut, that is also on my profile, will receive airplay starting from monday, may 18, 2009! I've just received this notice from Opus Studio's general manager today. For those who don't remember, Opus Studio is one of the companies for which I worked for some years creating, arranging and producing radio jingles for many brazilian stations. Back to the main subject, the song might have something about 4 or 5 plays per day. The radio in question is Morada do Sol FM, one of the companies owned by 'Organizações Roberto Montoro', in which Opus Studio is also incorporated. The radio covers all São Paulo's northern-littoral region (São Sebastião, Ilha Bela, Ubatuba, etc.) and some parts of Vale do Paraíba. This event was a result of all inputs from lots of people who considered the samba funk a great starting point to promote this record. Me and the general manager took the time and discussed about it, all he asked was an e-mail with the song. E-mail sent... Pal! There you have it, guys! Let's see what's next!

Of course, only the people from the mentioned region will be able to get tuned on Morada do Sol via radio. The frequence is 95.5. But the radio can also be listened live via the internet. Trabalho de Edu Camargo em parceria com a Opus Studio pode ser ouvido em programa de TV.

Enquanto novas perspectivas surgem para a carreira de Edu Camargo, a parceria entre ele e a Opus Studio continua. Desta vez, seu trabalho como criador de vinhetas pode ser apreciado em rede nacional, mais precisamente, no SBT.

Foram desenvolvidas vinhetas para o Programa do Ratinho, que vai ao ar de segunda a sexta-feira, às 17:30 pelo canal. Muitas das vinhetas são curtas, pois apenas anunciam quadros como fofocas, notícias, "Alô Ratinho" e etc. Mas há também abertura e encerramento.

There's always a time when things need to be repaired. Your importances, the friendships we cross around, the dreams, the yearnings, the anxieties, well... Nothing escapes from that little moment when you finally think: 'enough is enough'... Well, here things ain't diferent. Seems that it's time for a clean up.

I finally came through a moment in my life when I have to think diferent about this social stuff. I just realized that I got lots of numbers here, not friends. We see lots of people that just come here, add you on the list and that's it... And of course, we do the same thing and it's not fair at all, for both of us.

In fact, I just want to take this time to thank all the people that visit my profile and show some love and friendship. You can be sure guys that you're not just on my myspace list. Just taking the time to view some profiles, to see if I can pick something special.

As I am writing this blog, I'm feeling in a certain condition where no one can do anything against... In fact, we can do nothing against anything... I mean, uh, neither we can do against nor in favor. Things happen by nature... I just believe in the force of nature, either in the great moments or in the most obscure of your head-aches.

That tuesday, if you've read my previous blog about the show I did with Serial Funkers (it has been already deleted), was good. I just wished I could do more. I don't know, sometimes I feel myself uncomfortable after certain performances. I know I'm only human, but shouldn't things be a little easier? Truth be told, I ask too much from myself; very few things I do I really appreciate. There's always room for being more than who you are today; I have total conviction about it.

Anyway, I just thought that this time I'm taking to write something could minimize the emptyness I'm feeling at this moment. They say that explosion is better than implosion, so... Here I am. Also I think it's always a better idea to post something new, even though sometimes it might not sound as exciting as we would love life to be most of the time.

Well, God only knows the purpose of my current status so... I'll act accordingly.

Yes, I owe you a sign. These last days I've been just resting, just enjoying the transition. Well a new year has come right now. And I think it's never too late to wish you positive vibrations in 2009, with God on the lead, as always.

 

This last year has been a blessing to me. Really, no need to complain about it. My priority for that year is now a reality. Did some side-projects here and there, I've reached a balance between working and living that I hope not to let go. Of course, needless to say that I've had to learn from some hard experiences as well. But I've received a compensation for this. We are all running through ups and downs, it's the life's course, I accept it and try my best to go through this with some inteligence. Quoting my M.F.: "We can't lose with God on our side".

 

Well, that's it. May we live 2009 at its best, and do the most we can to make life better, bigger and filled with blessings, this year and beyond. God is with you no matter what. Just put your trust in him and follow his light.
