Sup... dunno whether anyone reads this but "Hoodie with a Heart" from Brotherman's "the Light" EP - probably my favourite of all the tracks I produced was played on Sarah Love's show on 1Xtra...

DJ Kayper was in for Sarah Love and she described the tune as "Pure... UK Hip Hop" - which is exactly the sound I was after...

Did my research on Kayper and it turns out she's a Gujarati Indian which I thought was kinda cool seeing Gujarat is the state to the Immediate north of where I am now...

any way... peep the steez, won't be online much longer... and Cop "the Light and the Dark" in stores late october...

Just to let y'all know:

The finishing touches are being added to Brotherman's debut project The Light and The Dark

The twin EPs serve as a showcase of the UK's freshest new artist, and will be released later this year on the mighty Silent Soundz.

I've produced a large portion of the project, contributing tracks to both The Light and The Dark, including the unheard tracks "Hoodie with a Heart", "So Wrong" and "When?" ... plus the street banger "Tale from the UK".

Keep an eye out fot this most antipated release!
