Marmalade Dog 15 is March 26-28, but we need GMs to make it happen!  We have the following incentives for anyone who registers to run at least one game at MD15 before February 1st:

The Marmalade Dog 14 site has been updated with all of the events registered so far.  Check it out:

Some highlights:

* The 7th Sea LARP returns!

* LAN party run by The BoxHeads!

* 1,750 point Warhammer 40,000 Rogue Trader Tournament with GW trophies

* The miniature painting contest also returns!

* DCI-sanctioned Star Wars Miniatures events in nearly every slot

If you registered any events on or before 12/15 keep in mind that you have until January 1st to add/change events to different days and receieve free admission for the additional/different days.  Just submit a GM form with the new/additional information:

The rumors you may have heard are true:  Former FASA subsidiary and current Kalamazoo business Virtual World Entertainment will be bringing four BattleTech cockpits to Marmalade Dog 14!

For those unfamiliar with the pods this description sums them up pretty well:

"The Tesla II cockpits, featuring the BattleTech: Firestorm software, are fully enclosed military style simulators that feature 7 screens, over 90 control systems, and a 12 speaker surround sound system. When seated in the cockpit or 'pod', the player will pilot his or her own walking tank known as a BattleMech onto the virtual landscape to compete with those seated in the other cockpits for battlefield superiority."

The Marmalade Dog 14 web site has been launched!  Our 2009 convention will take place JANUARY 29, 30 and FEBRUARY 1st, so mark your calendars!

We need GMs to help make this Marmalade Dog one to remember.  So register to GM before DECEMBER 15th and receive:

There have also been some events added in the past few days/weeks that may
have escaped your notice:
  • Gangster Wars - This event uses a 4’ x 15’ model of 1920’s Detroit
    featuring operational traffic lights, neon signs, trolley and freight

  • Starmada - This miniatures board game of starship combat was added just
    today.  You won’t find it in the MD13 convention book, but you can read

GMs who register at least one event before January 4th will receive:
