Taking over bass duties will be our long time friend Nath Applegate
hes got a wicked beard and pumps iron, You can see him on our upcoming tours

Stepping behind the kit will be London resident and long time friend Brad Merry
Hes been in various bands including Dam (candlelight records), Trenchhead, Raise The Dead and is an all round wicked guy.

We're very pleased to have these two onboard with us, theyre both like minded people and a pleasure to be around.
Please make them feel welcome, we know you will, buy them a beer at a show

As you have already heard Lyn & Sean are leaving AOAA after the US tour to take their other band Ingested further and do that full time, we wish them the best of luck, here is what they had to say

LYN JEFFS:
"I've decided to leave Annotations Of An Autopsy to concentrate on my other band Ingested, I feel that they deserve a drummer who is 100% commited to what the band is doing. I've had a great time on tour with AOAA and a great time meeting all the fans who have supported me and the band over the past year. I wish the band luck in the future and hope to share a stage again one day. For now, I will be playing the remainding tours we have booked till the end of the year, so I'm looking forward to meeting all you fuckers on the road again!"


SEAN HYNES:
"Upon lyn's departure i also have decided to part ways with AOAA to also commit fully to ingested, my reason for this is due to the busy schedules of both bands next year and I didn't want to be the person to hold both bands back. Even though i have only been in the
band for a short period of time it has been awesome and I am very proud to be part of the upcoming album; like Lyn I will be staying with the band until the end of the year and participating in the remaining tours. I know my decision to leave wont slow the band down and i wish them the best of luck in the future"

Our new drummer will be announced after the us tour, we are however looking for a full time bassist, if you want to apply heres what you need to do

- Must be 21+ (we're all 23+)
- Must live in england & have a valid uk passport
- Must have no other band commitments
- Be able to tour at leats 8 months of the year
- Own your own equipment
- Driving is a plus but not essential

It sucks to have yet another member change but sometimes things just dont work out, thaks to everyone who has stuck by us over the years, you wont be disapointed by the new album!

So recently we have been flooded with comments asking ''When are you guys going to post a new song" Well here is the answer to your questions

Our new album "The Reign Of Darkness" is now fully recorded, during this month it is being mixed by a good friend of ours, the one and only Erik Rutan From Hate eternal/ex morbid angel, you may know his work as he has worked with cannibal corpse, vital remains, goatwhore, through the eyes of the dead, nile, aeon and loads more
Heres what the man himself had to say on the project

"I am super excited to work with Annotations here at Mana with their hybrid of heavy as hell death metal. They are a bunch of great guys and an incredible band with tons of potential and look forward to making this album one heavy S.O.B!"

We're really glad to have him onboard for this because not only is he an awesome guy but he has been apart of alot of music that has influenced this band over time and we know he will do it justice!
Once Erik has done his thing it will be mastered and releasd via Nuclear Blast records and Siege of Amida Records, The release date is still up in the air but it is planned for the very start of 2010, i know we said summer originally but we had to push it back which was unavoidable!

Now to the artwork, the album art is nearly complete and has been taken care of by Par Olofsson (Psycroptic, the faceless, Condemned) the album is a concept album so the cover follows closley and yes it is another epice peice!

So now we come to your question, when will we have a new song up? the answer is pretty much as soon as its finnished being mastered, Which will be this year so dont worry you dont have to wait untill 2010, sorry we dont have an exact answer but as soon as we know, you will!
