The tip in the envelope that was left for me n the cash drawer at work from over the week-end? FIFTY BUCKS. (wtfbbq)

The look on the manager's face when he saw it? PRICELESS.

Yes, I plan on NEVER letting any of them forget this.

“See You Next Tuesday”

.. ......

I will see you next Tuesday

Unless I change my mind

Or I come to my senses

And I leave you behind

.. ......

For you’ve been the shadow

Always dogging my steps

Blocking out all my vision

So I can’t see what’s next

.. ......

I have lingered here too long

With these empty insides

Your ghost always telling me

There’s no place I can hide

.. ......

But I cast you out now

Old dogs can change their ways

You’ll be waiting a long time

I won’t see you next Tuesday

.. ......

So yesterday I work I was talking to these guests who said that they were in town for a concert at The Corning Museum of Glass. I happened to remember that it was Eileen Ivers playing, a giant in the Celtic music world. She was the fiddle player in Riverdance and has played on a Paula Cole song. It turns out that the people were friends of someone in the band and new her...

And when I got to work today, waiting for me was an aurographed copy of the simple progam book from Eileen and a few of her band! Best fucking tip anyone has ever left me at a hotel.

So there you have it, world.

American history has just been made. Good luck to you, Mr. Obama.

I just wish that I didn't cringe still every time someone mentions equality.

I also haven't seen J-Baxt in the throngs, and I've been a-looking!

Today's temperature..... is 10 degrees. And that's the high for the rest of the week. Close your legs up there in Alaska, Sara Palin!

In other news, if anyone in, say, the Florida keys/Texas/California/other warm places needs a house guest, just let me know. This arctic shit is whack.
