Be grateful for what you have now. As you begin to think about all the things in your life you are grateful for, you will be amazed at the never-ending thoughts that come back to you of more things to be grateful for. You  have to make a start, and then the law of attraction will receive those grateful thoughts and give you more just like them. You will have locked into the frequency of gratitude and all good things will be yours.

Party like a rock star
Atlanta's 10 sexiest nightspots

Atlanta's nightlife is growing up. After the demise of Buckhead's status as the dance capital of the South, our club scene has swelled to new levels of posh sophistication, though we still know how to get down and dirty on the dance floor. The days of drinking to oblivion haven't left us just yet—and probably never will, as pretty young college-age things continue to flock to the remaining Buckhead bars—but money-maker shakers have matured from dancing on the bar to simply dancing near the bar.

Atlanta's new wave of upscale party spots offers bottle service, VIP sections and memberships, velvet ropes, feng shui, fashion police and unchipped cocktail glasses. Though players on the new scene often include the deceptive term "lounge," don't be fooled. Sure, you can stretch out on the velvet-encrusted chaises or California kings when you're ready to get to know someone a little better. But what sets these 10 clubs apart from the other 200 or so within the confines of the Perimeter is the freedom to dance with near-reckless abandon while dressed to the nines in a luxe atmosphere, high on the exhilaration of bumping elbows with the rich and famous.

Aiko is a sexy hybrid of restaurant, lounge and nightclub, attracting a vibrant crowd on extended weekends, beginning Thursday and ending Monday (sometimes Tuesday for industry insiders). Saturdays at Aiko are served up as an international night; each weekend a different culture is showcased, from Latin and European to Indian, Bulgarian and Persian. Aiko is less Asian-themed than its name implies, channeling the sultry nights of South Beach. Bottle service ranges from $250 to $350, with cover starting at $10.

Just one year old, Lotus Lounge has blossomed into an ultra white-hot nightspot for the see-and-be-seen scene. More than 60 handcrafted cocktails sipped to the tune of high-energy dance beats attract Atlanta nightcrawlers with money to burn (and those with good credit). The members-only VIP mezzanine level and 10 Asian-themed semi-private deluxe booths add to the club's allure. Each booth is sectioned off with chiseled-glass cubes or rich curtains, and features its own signature cocktail laced with notes from the Far East.

The calming wave that rushes over partiers in Compound's Tenshi bamboo-and-rock garden (complete with a fog pool) is replaced with high-octane dancing just inside the walls of this versatile fortress once used to house cars for sale. The spacious club offers what has become the standard in Atlanta's more luxurious clubs, with private rooms and bottle service, along with full-on booty music for a tantric throwdown often hosted by hip-hop and rap stars.

Bring the heat at Fever, a multilevel nightclub with a penchant for celebrity visitors ranging from Playboy Bunnies to playboy rockers. VIP tables and rooms can cost upwards of $2,000 for a single night, and general admission costs between $15 and $20 depending on arrival time. But cheapskates can get into the club early with an e-mailed pass. Acknowledged as one of the hottest spots for rump-shaking, Fever's hip-hop, rock and house mash-ups are perfect for getting your groove on all weekend long.

Channeling that all-important retro feel is the cocktail classic Leopard Lounge. A recent change of ownership hasn't affected its cult following, who come for vintage vibes and dance-floor grinds, but the club is planning a redesign with a more contemporary flair. An elite set of clubbers heads to Leopard Lounge for booty-shaking and clinking their highballs, but the club hasn't let its reputation go to its head—even though legendary rockers such as Bono are known to drop in and break out old-school dance moves.

The newly minted Luckie Food Lounge is already the talk of the town for those seeking a sexy nighttime destination. Located next to the Georgia Aquarium, it's an opportune spot for meeting all those rumored fish in the sea. Built by Compound's original owner, the charmed club offers a sleek take on being a VIP with Play, a members-only rooftop lounge opening later this summer, and a gourmet sundry shop filled with its own bottled libations, handmade gelato, reading material and, of course, condoms for the lucky ones.

Also new on the scene with a recent change in name and décor, Opera (the former Eleven50) recently reopened its doors to hip-shaking scenesters on the hunt for luxe interiors, renowned DJs and mind-blowing acoustics—all set in a classy 1920s theater. Three levels, VIP sections, outdoor cabanas, a pool and an explosion of big-name DJs spinning a wide range of music makes this Midtown oasis a must-visit on weekends.

Velvet Room has risen from the dead with a surprising number of immediate fans. Once the place to be seen inside the ropes, this former beauty queen of the nightlife scene has emerged triumphant, with a regular batch of enthusiastic Q100 listeners showing up each weekend blinged out and ready to shell out $15–$20 for entrance into the live broadcast Saturday night dance party.

Shout from the rooftops and swing from the vines of floss hanging on the necks of the beautiful people at Verve, home to a swanky 10,000 square-foot rooftop deck complete with the almost-standard bottle service. The sky's the limit at this über-chic tri-level club, where local music moguls are known to grace partiers with their presence.

WETbar beats out all the other gay clubs in Atlanta for its dance-centric atmosphere, hot bartenders, no-holds-barred attitude toward having fun and a super-sexy, glass-enclosed VIP section with bottle service. Cover ranges from $10 to $20, depending on the visiting talent, which often consists of international DJ superstars spinning the gamut of dance music from techno to house to rock to hip-hop to trance and everything beautifully mashed up together. Jump on the revolving dance floors for your own trip around the world, set to the tune of a dazzling light show.

From "Positive Energy," by Judith Orloff, M.D.:

Certain people give off positive energy, others negative. It's the quality of someone's being, a measure of love with which they've led their lives. It also reflects the inner work they've done, their efforts to heal anger, hatred, or self-loathing, which poison us like toxic fumes. Energetically these linger, precluding joy from shining through. It's important to grasp, however, that once you undertake the process of healing, it changes the quality of even the negativity that remains. Don't be too hard on yourself-we're all works in progress.

SIGNS OF POSITIVE ENERGY IN PEOPLE
+ They exude an inviting sense of heart, compassion, and support.
+ You intuitively feel safe, relaxed, wanting to get closer.
+ They emanate a peaceful glow.
+ You feel better around them. Your energy and optimism increase.

SIGNS OF NEGATIVE ENERGY IN PEOPLE
+ You experience a sense of being demeaned, constricted, or attacked
+ You intuitively feel unsafe, tense, or on guard.
+ You sense prickly, off-putting vibes. You can't wait to get away from them.
+ Your energy starts to fizzle. You may feel beleaguered or ill.

I'm a big fan of being proactive in generating positive energy. The First Prescription's formula for success: Do whatever makes your inner light burn brighter. In other words, try to treat yourself and everyone else with love. It's a constant process of tuning in: finding people who support your spirit, trusting your gut-centered decisions to guide you. Then you won't end up in a relationship that looks right but feels wrong. Or miss the chance to meet a loving man or woman because he or she doesn't fit some preconception. When you're with trying people, aim for the high road; find common ground, rather than inflame negativity. The care with which you approach life is intuitively evident in your energy field. We can feel each other's love: that's the great attraction. Spread openheartedness around.

Dear Hater (All my friends please read) This bulletin is in regards to this BLOG from earlier today. The slander statements came to me on page 2 of the Blog if you want to read more...

As for the girl making the statements...this is for you:

Oh Dear Hater:

Answer one question for me..."Have you ever met So Fain or Myself?" NO! So how can you make comments like this...really!?! I am a very nice person with a HUGE HEART...ask around? And I have been thru more things than most people in a lifetime combined, and if you dont know what I am talking about...then you dont know me!

AND people think I have time for DRAMA!?!?! I can say this, and am probably saying this about everyone that reads this...I like to live my life and hang around people that like to live life! I dress the way I do, because it makes me feel good about myself. I dont care if someone doesnt like it...I DO! We all are not perfect...and again...if we were...we would be BORING! Hell, read some of the comments on my page of people telling me "Thank you for taking the time to talk to them and changing their lives, and helping individuals with tough times...or even read the comments from some people that have posted on here on this page for sake. I know that some of them were angry for this blog, but i have to give them a "Thank you" for taking the time to stand up for a friend or their friends...Wouldn't you want your friends to stand up for you??? Some people take comments and things that they read in different emotions...that's what seperates us from all being the same.

Be Yourself...Dont make fun of others for their style...if we did...we wouldnt have the Elvis Presley's, James Deans, Marylon Monroes, Ray Charles, Beatles, Andy Warhol's...for that matter we wouldnt have any ICONS or INDIVIDUALS that have made a difference in LIFE. Let people be who they want to be...that's what makes us grow! People might dress the way they want for their own security...as long as they feel better dressing or wearing sunglasses as night, LET THEM! Has anyone ever sat down and got to know these people before judging?!?! I am not perfect either, and I am sure I have pointed the finger too, but I later got to know these people and LOVED THEM! We might not understand some people for why they do things or wear certain things, but has anyone ever stopped and asked that person why they wear that (?) or do that (?) or simply act that way (?). I am sure there is a reason...it's called "living their life the way they want to!"

And for going out of your way to say that we are out "spreading disease"...Now that is just not right. I dont have any diseases! I am sure you must feel bad for even saying that. Seriously...that is actually not even a funny statement...that is more like slander! If you want to make statements, make them Factual...So Fain is out spreading diseases...NOT THE REST OF US!! LOL! Just Kidding. But seriously...Hogue designed this to be funny and to get some attention...and he prevailed...not to mention, I am sure he there is some (or a lot) of truth behind his thoughts. Hell, it's artistic and fun...if you cant laugh at yourself then you're just not right in the head. I know it's hard to laugh at yourself from time to time, but eventually you look at it in another way and you eventually laugh at yourself.

I have blogged about these discussions more than once!

I know recently I was poked at...and I am fine with it.

Good example of this would be "Kevin Federline's" Superbowl commercial (and yes, I did watch the entire SuperBowl...I was born in Indiana and have been a Colts fan), when Kfed was poaking fun at himself as he was on cloud 9, and later he was working the FRY shift at some burger joint! Case in-point...done.

Yes, I took a little time to type this...because, it's not right for ANYONE to make statements about us that aren't factual. Before I met "So Fain", I wasnt to sure about him myself...but, he's one of the funniest, smartest kats I have met...and tells it how it is. He isnt hiding anything...he's one of my best friends...and I am glad that he is...Alcoholnik, RockStar, and the rest of our gang are ALL guys that would do anything for any of y'all and myself...and I am glad to have them on our team.

I'm not going to bash you Hater, but I think you really need to rethink your comments. And as for the comment about the "Magazine"...the definition of a Magazine is as follows: a publication that is issued periodically, usually bound in a paper cover, and typically contains essays, stories, poems, etc., by many writers, and often photographs and drawings, frequently specializing in a particular subject or area, as hobbies, news, or sports.

The Internet has changed the way people communicate and how people do business everyday. armada Magazine is an online magazine that captures events, parties, stories, hobbies, subjects, photography, charities and more. We have never said to anyone that we had a "hard copy". You evidentally havent seen any of our online flip books online. We have pulled them offline last month, due to we are revamping several things within armada, and how we do business. A new issue (online) will be coming out very soon...I think you will be pleased. And, "YES"...I did say, "Business"...armada is a business. SO WHAT that we like to go out and bring some of the hottest celebrities to our events with the help of Tabu and have a GREAT time doing it with our friends and new friends!! Evidentally 2000 people a week like to party with us too, and have a good time at the same places we do!! Is that a reason to hate? Maybe...but, I dont see it!

I am paid to bring social events together for people to have a good time...I noticed you like to go out as well...I am sure you have been to an event before that someone threw...I am sure it didnt just throw itself! armada has also contributed and sponsored over 100 plus chairity events!

I have seen team members and players that have been a part of armada and have went on to bigger things, such as one of our writers was recognized in armada, and was hired in NY to write for a online publication there...and several photographers have been noticed thrughout armada and have done work with several celebrities, organizations, and other publications. We are a business...but better yet, we are having fun doing what we love. Dont hate on someone due to them enjoying life and doing what they like to do. ;)

I send my love to our friends and our haters...If you knew us, you wouldn't hate us...and if you do know us and hate us...well, you didnt really get to know us then.

Thank you for posting this. I am hoping that people will be positive about this blog and my writings. Afterall, it is called "MY SPACE".

Much Love Hater & others, I hope this helps you understand my point of view!

Sincerely,

Max

Life is Tough...But, I am Tougher!
