It seems to be that time of year again - We're getting so good at these competitions, one of us may just run for office in November!  The band is in the running to play at Austin City Limits, one of the most prestigious festivals around.  Vote for F&H to play at Austin City Limits! - It's free to vote.  Thanks as always for your support!

You would think playing a cover song to be the ulimate homage to its writer.  So did we!  But little did we realize, somebody ends up having to pay some $$$ for the honor.  Until now, it's been taken care of by the clubs we've played (and they pay an ass-load to allow us to).  But out here, at least our first experience saw us paying for the one cover we played.  So Paul, if you're reading this (which we know you do from time to time) , six glorious US Dollars are on their way to your house.  In fact, we'll send it to you.  Send us a message with your address and we'll make sure it gets to your doorstep. 

Now that's some mutha-humpin' homage.

Your night at the pictures is going to mean just a little bit more on June 25th.  The title track from I Am the Ghost will be featured on the soundtrack to the 2009 film The Crypt.  Along with other goulish and haunting selections, I Am the Ghost will appear in the film.  (at a nice, sweet, reflective spot in the movie we hope.  We always did think it made for a sublime credit rolling experience)

A very happy start of 2009 to you.  Yes, Fools & Horses are taking it to the next level, with a bit of international travel.  We've been honored by the folks at Armed Forces Entertainment to have been selected to perform for the troops in Japan and Okinawa.  We leave in March, and won't be back until April.  Yes, a whole month without F&H in the country!  We're planning a big send-off at the Recher Theatre on Friday, March 6, so mark your calendars for the big date.
