I get the sniffles up untill the end of May. I'm usually cool after that tho.

Camden Crawl was a blast. Marv killed it. Caught up with some old friends, met a whole bunch of new ones. Purple Turtle was maybe the best London gig I've ever been involved with. Koko was similiar, but with the added bonus of 800+ people. Sick.

Check out some random videos from the Purple Turtle performance ("Boom!", "Guns Of Brixton" and the spanking brand new "Superhero") at www.youtube.com/marvthemarsh, courtesy of Mister "Wheres my money?" Chan (by the way, I think Tego knocks the gear over, not me!). Haven't seen any KoKo footage yet. If youve got some (or any cool footage/pictures from the Crawl) get at me.

Big, whole hearted, indie kid daps to Steve the Piano Man, Michael Buffalo, J-C and Lauren, The Errorplains, Akala/ Caz and the Illa State crew, Example and The Beats crew (see you next week), Cajun Dance Party (didn't recognise you), Jerez, Bud, Olly, Artrocker, Pixel, Dego and Envy doing there thing in Germany, that dude that came on stage with us to do Boom and the pretty brunette in the turkey hat.

Yes,

Turkey hat.

Easy lads & lasses

Yes,

Playing basketball hurts,

When you're a fat bastard,

And a bit shit,

Ouch mang.

Thanks to those we met on Thursday, thanks to those we knew already and a special thanks to those that kept us ticking over with Weed'an'Booze. In a fast paced, thick Geordie accent, the phrase "Weed'an'Booze" will have you pissing, trust. Maybe it was just funny that one time I heard it. I think it was on Trisha.

Got fluuuuucked backstage at ULU. I still smell the chlorine from the swimming pool/ badminton court/ dressing rooms. There was also a double bed and an i-pod-cum-speaker something that pumped about 3.5db a speaker. Nice environment for getting (very quietly) toasted.

Show went nicely. Couple of new ones, couple of oldies. Dego came out and chanted "doo-doo" on the hook of a new one and did "Boom!" with us. Nice vibe. Good look Will on the sound. Couple of nice hooks from the Travel Lodge crew. Hung out with the Chain a bit. Generally nice.

I'm off to shoot hoops like its '95.

"BOOM-SHAKA-LACKA"!

Wotzat?

New Marv The Marsh tour blog up on his myspace (myspace.com/marvthemarsh). I think its from Manchester. Its pretty fucking funny. Nice one Mr Chan.

Also, Marv did an interview with "Who's Jack Magazine", which has this old fashioned "turn the page yourself, you lazy fucker" kinda style. Which I like.

Peep it. http://www.whos-jack.co.uk/jackmag2.html

And finally, for those demanding a re-up of Why Lout?s "It's Been Time!" mixtape, it will be made available at myspace.com/whyloutcrew this very afternoon.

Thats it.

Blam.

Yow,

Back off tour. Was flucking bananas! Big thanks to Akala, Yes Boss and Goldie Looking Chain.

Did a whoooole bunch of amazing gigs this year, notably The "Oh/ Boom!" Launch at swanky Sketch in London, Aberdeen SNFU with Akala, Nasty Fest in Leeds with Yes Boss and Inverness Ironworks with GLC. Also, at least one good 'un at the Old Blue Last in the Hoxton/Old Street/Shoreditch twat trap.  Great stuff.

Also, released Marvin The Martians "Hoods and Badges e.p" this year, mixed up a little "Hoods and Badges Mixtape" with that Akira The Don fellow, featured on Akiras "Boom! (Smash Stuff)" release with me old muckers Why Lout? and capped of the year with the release of "I Hate My Job" by Marv The Marsh, which got nominated for a "Pure Music Award" which we didn't win, or honestly know much about, but it was extremely nice to be nominated.

Ermm...pissed about with a camera for hours on end while on tour. That should be good when edited. Peep the little tour blogs on www.myspace.com/marvthemarsh for a taste.

Oh yeah, filmed a few scenes for the Tricky movie. I'm white gangster number 2. Tego is white gangster number 1. He will forever hold this over me.

Yeah, anyways, stuff. This was all I could think off.

Happy New Year.
