Recordings of Seven Degrease (part 1, 2 and 3) are finally done.
Yesterday (Wednesday June 3) we recorded the horns, using the Maarssense Fanfare.
A team of 16 brass (trumpets, tubas and trombones) and woodwind (saxophones and bass clarinet) were happy to help us out.
Sunday 12 and Saturday 18 April we recorded Rommert's guitar parts at New Joke Studios.
(Sorry, he recorded it so fast that we didn't even have time to take a photo *smile*)
On April 21 we recorded vocals and cello at Excess Studios in Rotterdam (NL).
In the meantime, Kris has recorded his parts (keyboards, bass, Double bass and guitar) at New Joke Studios.
(Sorry, no photos here either)
In the weekend of 16 and 17 May we shoot the video clip in Purmerend (NL) together with D'iMages.
We hope to have it done sometime in August/September but there is still lots to do and many details to film and edit.
However, we are very confident that this will be something very special.
We shoot material for all parts of "Seven Degrease" which will make this a 9+ minutes music video and we're now negotiating with our record company on how to present this to the audience.
As we want to keep this a bit of a surprise and secret, we won't give away too much information about the clip just yet.
So there won't be coming any photo's from the video shoot right now... but they will come so be sure to pop by soon again.
For now we will focus on mixing and mastering "Seven Degrease" before we move on to making and recording new material for our next full length album.
Thank you for you time.
