It's about a year since i signed a contract to do a 10 Rapid album for exceptional records and every time i go to work on it i get another remix to do, not that this is a bad thing as i love doing remixes, and have had some pretty exciting ones recently,

 first up is by Fenech-Soler a track called LA Love, if your not familiar with this band then you should check em out, they are currently touring with Groove Armada and have just released Lies on Moda Music, my remix of LA Love has been the highlight of recent dj sets and has already been spun on XFM by Eddy TM.

 Next up is a track called "Only For Tonight" by a band called Burn The Negative, their album is out already and is available on iTunes etc on Gung-ho records, my remix will be released alongside a Leathehead remix as part of a single package aswell as on a Burn the Negative remix album, my remix is  "epic guitar techno" and the band and label love it.

 I was also sent the vocal for an absolutely massive track which is everywhere at the moment, cant say what it is yet until i know whats happening with it........ all will be revealed (quack quack)

  Had a 12 hour session in the studio today to finish a Malente remix for Southern Fried Records, my ears are ringing as ive taken the mix down a dark analogue route.....

 my own single 'its Not Right" is being mastered next week along with 2 stunning Streetlife Dj's remix, which should be out this side of Christmas.

As im sure you are aware Flagsuckers / Punchline are out now and doing very well, Flagsuckers was 17 on the Beatport Indie/dance chart last time i checked and dont miss the Leatherhead remix which is pretty damn fine too.

After causing quite a stir with my first single "Minor Riot" for Exceptional Records, we now have the follow up "flagsuckers" along with a Leatherhead remix and another track from me called 'Punchline"

Currently somewhere in Remix heaven with upcoming mixes for  Fenech Soler, Hyper and Grum  Mr Rapid  has somehow also managed to grab enough time to work on his own music and deliver a cracking 2nd release for Exceptional
 
Lying somewhere between electro house and noisy techno 'Flagsuckers" delves into the darker, twisted side of Electronica. Featuring big thrashy synths and crazy production, the track is filled with an air of insanity. Add in sharp edits together with some glitchy fx and the result is a track that keeps you wondering just what's going to happen next

Punchline ups the tempo whilst keeping an appropriately summery feel . Mashing chopped up vox with a rolling groove, its sound offers a nod to Homework era Daft Punk whilst swaggering down the street like the bastard child of Quincy Jones and Boys Noize.

And tearing it up in the Remix department we have Leatherhead who deliver a slightly more stripped down version taking in dirty House grooves, grinding Electro, and everything in between.  Placing themselves firmly in the we will not be ignored department the delivered version  compliments the original perfectly

10 Rapid kicked off his career by winning the Marine Parade remix competition bringing Adam Freeland into the fan club straight away. Dance floor smashes for Burrito, Neon Wax and Meat Katie's 'Lot 49' followed accompanied by a chorus of approval from Groove Armada, Cagedbaby, Streetlife Dj's,  Eddy Temple Morris and many more

Naturally a bunch of remix offers soon followed including Cagedbaby's "Forced” and Digitalism's "Taken Away" which gained some serious respect from the  French glitch 'clique'. 

The bottom line is simple 10 Rapid makes mighty fine electronic music,

Hello people, hope everyone is enjoying the summer and not spending the sunny days in a dark studio like myself.

Minor Riot has been doing really well, it has recieved plays from Kissy Sell Out on radio 1, The Loose Cannons, Wolfgang Gartner, Bang gang dj's and loads more.

The 2nd single Flagsuckers / Punchline has been mastered and comes with an awesome remix from dynamic duo Leatherhead.

The album is coming on well, currently working with one of the best rappers around "Cubbie Bear", check him in my top friends and go buy his album, its sick !!

working on a remix for Hyper at the moment, its sounding great, very hands in the air for those festival moments

Hey people,

 just a quick update from 10 Rapid HQ, one of the many remixes i have done recently is out now on Beatport, Juno and all the other download sights, the track is by decks wizard Paul Lyman and the track is called "Break Through", there a a few remixes including Cut La Roc which are all mainly "breaks" sounding in its various styles, you can hear a clip of mine on myspace player, dj Mag described it as "a lesson in Warehouse", anyone into the Proxy sounding stuff will get the drift.

Got a Leatherhead remix on the go although think i have missed the deadline, but do not worry, My Streetlife Dj's remix is at the mastering house now and will be available in vinyl and digital soon.

Not long until Minor Riot land, well excited about this release
