Watch the video & help me (Luke Walton) get a date with Taylor Swift! ;)

I know, I know this is kinda a weird choice for this weeks "Weekly
Acoustic Cover Song," but watch what I say in the beginning of the
video and I think it'll make sense.

So here we go... Love Story the Guy Man Boy Male Dude Version.

My version of Love Story's lyrics (Written by Taylor Swift):
We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes
And the flashback starts
Youre standing there
On a balcony in summer air

See the lights
See the party, the ball gowns
You see me make my way through the crowd
And say hello, little did we know

That I was Romeo, I was throwing pebbles
And your daddy said stay away from Juliet
And you were crying on the staircase
Begging me please don't go, and I said

Juliet lets go somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
Ill be the prince and youll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes

So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while
OH oh oh oh oo

'Cause I was Romeo, you were a scarlet letter
And your daddy said stay away from Juliet
But you were everything to me
You were begging me please don't go and I said

Juliet lets go somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
Ill be the prince and youll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes

Juliet save me, they try to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story baby just say yes
She got tired of waiting
Wondering if I was ever coming around
Her faith in me is fading
When I met her on the outskirts of town, and she said

Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think
I knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring

And said, marry me Juliet
You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say yes

'Cause we were both young when I first saw you

I wrote this song for Taylor Swift.

As you guys may know, I made a video asking Taylor Swift out on a date (Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSh9UL... ). She's been on my mind lately, so I decided to write a little song for her. I hope you guys like it. :)

and THANK YOU for all of the incredible support. Thanks to you, I think the date might really happen. I'm loving the video responses. Keep em coming guys!

Lyrics:
When I saw you,
Pullin' back your strawberry hair,
Your blue eyes caught my dumbfounded stare,
Your awkward smile made my face burn for days.

But I was stupid,
I closed my eyes and ran away,
Afraid of what you might have to say,
'Bout a kid who ain't perfect no matter what I try.

I keep on seeing you all around,
Reminding me that I've got empty hands.
But I hope if I just keep on making sound,
Maybe someday I might get some kinda chance,
To say,

(Chorus:)
Hello beautiful,
I just, I don't know,
I don't usually do this,
But I just wanted to say hello.

Would you maybe like,
To go out tonight?
I promise I'm not crazy,
I just want a chance if it's alright.

So what do you say,
Wanna make a guys day?
Just gimme your hand,
And baby it'll be okay.

Hello beautiful,
I just, I dont know,
I don't usually do this,
But I just wanted to say hello.

Later that night,
I toss and turn lyin' in my bed,
Pictures of you playin' in my head,
It's three AM and my hearts killing my mind.

But then you're with me,
Holdin' my hand on a sun kissed beach,
Tauntin' the tide as it tries to reach,
Laughin' as we both turn and run so far away.

But my alarm starts screaming in my ear,
Forcing me to break free from that trance.
The new days light makes you just disappear,
But tomorrow night I'll get a second chance,
To say.

(Chorus)

Consider this my way,
To say hello.

(Chorus)

Hello beautiful,
I just, I don't know,
I don't usually do this,
But I just wanted to say hello.

"Six Months to Make It" is the story of me (Luke Walton) trying to become successful in the music industry. After my early graduation January 23rd, I have a six month break from school during which I'll be working like crazy to progress my dream.

In this episode, I find out if I get into my number one choice of school, USC's Thornton School of Music. This is the ONLY music school I applied to, so this decision determines whether or not I will be studying music in college... The only problem: they only accept 14 students.

Fingers crossed.

Superstition is this week's "Weekly Acoustic Cover Song." This time, I brought in my band "Blue Suburbia" to help me out.

Lyrics (Written by Stevie Wonder):

Very superstitious, writings on the wall,
Very superstitious, ladders bout to fall,
Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin glass
Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past.

When you believe in things that you dont understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition aint the way, no no no

Very superstitious, wash your face and hands,
Rid me of the problem, do all that you can,
Keep me in a daydream, keep me goin strong,
You dont wanna save me, sad is my song.

When you believe in things that you dont understand,
Then you suffer,
Superstition aint the way.

This webisode, my band, Blue Suburbia, has a (FREE) recording session at MiraCosta College. Watch us get lost on the way to the studio, record under pressure, and play some musica.

BTW: The entirety of this EP was recorded in 45 minutes. The instrumental tracks were recorded in one take, as were the vocals. It was stressful, but it got done!
